Back to the roots, right? Like it's a simple au story between 3 old tvd characters, and that was a triangle, that I certainly edited a lot back then and was super interested in and was also pretty mad about.
Things have obviously changed. This story (I mean the one from the show) doesn't move me now at all, the reason why I put this video together was to project my own feelings into it.
Well, I can say, that the situation, I was in not long ago, definitely wasn't the same. It was jealousy from my side, sure, but it had nothing to do with love, itself.
It was more about the fact, that I kept experiencing from time to time, what it is like to be NOT first, after someone, who, you know, like how Caroline said, is always the first, despite not trying, or... well... I could use very different words to describe it, but I can't put it out here.
It was more about the feeling of not being wanted, desired, picked... You know. And about me being a forever alone, and others being not. And I struggled quite intensely with that extreme jealousy in this situtation.
And I thought, if I create a story, where a girl is madly in love with a guy, that loves another (well, more like obsesses over another), and treats her very cruel, (like straight up cruel in that video), it would make me feel a little bit comforted, because I would think, her jealouy must be way stronger, because she really is in love, which my case lacked.
I could've chosen Caroline as the one feeling this way, and use her monolouge from the pilot, but I chose Rebekah, because I didn't edit her in a LONG time, and some of her quotes fit even more to this situation.
Damon is the guy, because I don't even know... I don't use him very often now, and he was a character, that I grew to despise in the route of the show. But only after I was over my crush on him, which I can't understand anymore. He was an awful character, honestly... Sure, Ian is handsome, but it's way too few for a reason to have a crush on him. Me being into bad guys is long gone anyway.
And who else could I choose as being the one being obsessed over, if not precious little Elena, who got everyone obsessed with her? It may sound petty, but this was one of the reasons, I always hated her. But she made me not feel guilty about it with being such a horrible person. xD

I think, I don't even have to put tags now. Like who would even care, if I did? Like this story is dead and gone by now.
One more thing, I also can not understand my obsession with Debekah at the time. For some weird reason, I was convinced that she was into him, which she definitely was not, and if someone knows my shipping tendencies, I always tend to linger to ships, where the girl is the one, who is more into the guy, while I despise the ships, where the guy is obsessed over a girl. Others do it the opposite way, but I almost never ship a couple, if the female is not very interested at first, while he is, and definitely HATE the trope, "he got the girl", not to mention, it most of the times him being a "bad boy", who falls for a "good girl", who is somehow the only one, who doesn't care, and that makes him try harder, and... I guess, you all know the story. Just so you know, these couples drive me nuts.
I also passionately despise, when said bad boy treats everyone awful, expect his precious one and only. Ew!
I know, that these are most of the times, the tropes, that EVERYONE loves, which somehow makes me feel misunderstood even in the shipping territories, but whatever... xD
I'm lazy to make a good thumbnail for a video, which only a few of you will watch anyway, not to mention, it's the middle of the night right here, when I upload it.
Oh, and I don't think, that Rebekah was very wise in this video. She should not let him walk all over her like that, and glad, that she came to her senses by the end. The only reason I made this edit this way, because I wanted her to be REALLY into him. Like too much, but... Yeah.
