Well it is a great discovery, these were more likely big storerooms for preserving/stocking food supplies. As it has been proved that sound waves help in preserving food for longer periods.

The dating of these monuments is woefully imprecise. Mainly because they can only do carbon 14 dating on organic matter. Finding bones, charcoal, and other materials only means that at some point "some people" were there at the the C14 date. However, there is absolutely zero proof that the people of the C14 date were the original builders. They could have easily been people of an era thousands of years after the original builders who discovered the ruins and used them for their own purposes. It is a problem that is unaddressed by MANY megalithic sites around the world, including Gobekli Tepi, Stonehenge, etc. There is clearly a difference between the large megalithic stone construction and the smaller stone walls, suggesting that two different builders from two different epochs used the site for their own purposes. It has been widely know for centuries that ancient civilizations built upon older ruins.

Kinda wack deductions I mean how do you decide the purpose of holes in the wall and a platform that are over 5,000 years old?

Another British interpretation of these sites. We had J. Vance, Henry Rhind, A. Evans, John Evans, D. Trump, Colin Renfrew etc all telling us their interpretation. I admire S. Stoddart and C. Malone work and excavations but not their interpretation....Animal sacrifices were used by those people who came after Atlantis and used these sites for their own rituals and expression. Check 'An Alternative Handbook to the Maltese Temples' to have a different and a metaphysical (yes...beyond the physical!) perspective to these sites and to those holes found at the side of the temples...The holes that are normally found on the side at the entrance of the temples, their purpose were to nourish and more specifically to realign and balance the chakras of those who enter the site. These holes served as a laser electromagnetic light that brought the whole body of all those that entered the temple into harmony, aligning its vibrations and bringing instant healing and perfect balance. Never 6000 years. More probably 21000 years. Same as the temples and cart ruts. The official age of the temples of Malta and the first high culture with 4000 - 6000 years is unbelievable. The C14 isotope method could never be unequivocally assigned to the stone. That these are the oldest monuments of mankind is since 2000 also no longer credible because of Göbekli Tepe.
