Thank you for highlighting Puerto Rican food....I cry just like you cried eating the flan when I bite into my mom's Puerto Rican food... I feel so privileged to have a mom that has all her Puerto Rican flavors down to perfection.....Her special talent in food will go down in history when she leaves this earth and even though many of us have tried to duplicate my mom's recipes, the food never tastes exactly like hers.....I feel Puerto Rican food sometimes gets passed and is underrated but it is some of the most delicious food in the world....
