Because he's a loudmouth and they don't take him seriously -- he's normalized this kind of talk. Also when you're a former president with secret Service protection, yourself, well, they can keep an eye on him. Unfortunately the courts haven't decided if a former president can be charged with inciting murder, or insurrection...and more than half the SCOTUS might bend the law for Trump.

I urge all members of the armed forces to remember and adhere to their paths of enlistment. You must defend and support the Constitution of the United States against all enemies foreign and domestic. That includes the if the President who violates or suspends the Constitution as a dictator.

Look at Project 2025, there are reviews of it available on line. That will leave you scared for your future and that of your children and grandchildren. Our country is so divided right now that the violence would likely come from our fellow citizens more than the government. Think the slaughter in Rwanda. And, income inequality is greater now than any time on our history. Millions are homeless and nearly so. A full time job doesn’t cover even a small apartment and food in many cities. Seeing a doctor is a luxury. And, climate change is the threat multiplier. Things are going to get interesting, more so if Fascist Trump takes office.
