I have been lucky enough in my motoring life to have driven an R5 Turbo 2. It was a red 1984. I drove it many many times and did lots of work on it. It had the 210hp kit and the Devil exhaust. It is an AMAZINGLY fun car to drive. It is not fast by today's standards but it is quick. Boost doesn't even come on until 4000rpm and the car redlines at 6500. Below 4000 rpm the engine is gutless. One more thing.... The R5 Turbos have the most wonderful deceleration popping of any car I've ever heard in my life.

This is a series that I was kind of wishing for. I've been enjoying all of the recent behind the scenes stuff with Larry. He's a really great personality and throwing in a little Vinny is always entertaining!

this was great. I love me some Larry Chen! you guys getting lost reminded me of 3 weeks ago when I got lost with my fiancee in Lisbon. Her phone died, and we had to navigate from a tourist map. we did make it to our hotel, and i pounded all the beers in the minibar to calm my ass down.

I worked at an Audi, BMW, Porsche dealer when I was 16 (17 years ago) and my friend (the son of the dealership owner) had an R5 turbo imported back then. Definitely a rad car. So much packed into a little space, but it worked seamlessly.

Guys, you should go in winter to Russia, Krasnoyarsk. They have the sickest winter drift championship in the world. I know that trip would be pretty rough in terms of a weather, but if you care about drifting in general then you should make a video about those guys. Thanks for a good content!

This series is gonna be awesome. One request, however, would be that if you're going to do a show about photography, include the info that photographers are gonna wanna see! When you show one of Larry's stills, put the f-stop, shutter speed, etc. in the margin!

One suggestion, i like seeing builders speak their native language and then be translated. Don't edit that out. There are things like gestures, inflection and excitement that more than transcend any language barriers 👍

It's so weird to see Autobahn signs and hear the typical traffic humming in your videos. But honestly, I can't wait for the next episode. I have a feeling this show will make me appreciate my homecountries' car scene and re-awake my curiosity for local stuff!

Hey Guys! I was born here in Heilbronn, moved to Canada for 9 years and now I live right in between Bad Rappenau and Stuttgart, hope you enjoy the autobahn. Its terrible around here LOL. A6 Construction, A8 stupid amount of trafic, A81 same thing. If you want to rip a car on the autobahn, try 2am in the morning. The only other cars there, will be police. Have fun in germany you guys!

Nice R5 Turbo2 !, I used to have one and sold it in 92 for just a few grand. Wish I kept it as they are worth huge amounts now. Stock they were 150bhp from the little 1.4 Turbo. Rally cars had over 300bhp from the same little 1.4. For a car made in the early 80's that was an amazing power output for the little engine size. I presently have a 88 Renault Alpine GTA V6 Turbo. That's the coolest Renault ever !.
