Okay I love and appreciate the work and effort ppl put into this. 20k and 1000's of hours of work for the box? This is a tad much. Lots of philosophical questions going on here.

FedEx and USPS for years had triangle boxes. In fact i hope my small Opticle order i did last week shows up in this bax because the design is a home run.

An idea similar to the PPF what if you laminate something like PPF on the box? If PPF helps reduce impact stress maybe it would help with that and it would in theory make it stronger.....just a thought tho as it may increase the cost more or not make much of a difference

Shipping a triangle box is a bit weird, but a 2 pack would be a square

I think a box that starts off as a square but when you unfold it, it becomes a triangle.Then you can refold it back to a square again for transportation with a easy mind.

When my box showed up the triangles were busted out too and the tabs were worn loose. The foam triangles will probably eliminate the shipping abuse the box goes through. Thank you guys as the brand looks fantastic and you stayed the course. I’m sure there had to be times when you felt like everybody was just trying to stick their hands in your pockets. I do not even look anywhere else for PPF!

Yes, they need to be very durable to withstand the shipping process. They handle packages quite roughly.

I mean a 50 pound roll of 60'' is gonna destroy a box just from the shape and weight with them getting thrown around. Only disadvantage I see is we use the rectangle boxes to gather and store our cut outs for cars for each installer

At the end of the day packaging is important form a marketing perspective BUT what ultimately matters is the product inside.

Jason, add a small blue Velcro circle at the bottom tab to secure it closed. 😉

It's interesting looking into your development process, thank you. However although your PPF product might be a premium product, do you not thing that having good packaging isn't necessarily about having expensive packaging? The only people that actually interact with the packaging is the installer. Therefore realistically would it not be better to have a better PPF product and have thoughtful packaging and possibly more affordable packaging. That then makes if more profitable to the installer and more eco-friendly...

I worked for UPS and we used to use triangle boxes (no handle) but they worked well.

Bigger tabs will solve the flap opening up and the ends from opening up. I'm thinking an extra strip of cardboard along the top edge may add extra strength to the handle

As a founding memeber I like the triable box. Ppf and tint boxes get damaged all the time so I’m not worried. I like the effort to change the industry.

You didn't discus shipping the product and how a triangle box doesn't stack well with conventionall shapped boxes....UPS and USPS is going to NOT love those boxes. SORRY, I will stop with the comments. I do love you guys for detailing vids!

We pack it in a secondary square box for stacking on a pallet. It also stacks very nice with multiple boxes on a shelf.

@@ChicagoAutoPros you mentioned it in your video. All three sides are equal in height. Equally strong. That’s what gives it its strength. Same as a diamond. 😊

LOL...pulling out the film...kind of like what you do every day in your kitchen with foil or cling wrap. Love you guys for detailing, not so much for "marketing."
