The Guard from the train radioed the other Guard?? I have been travelling by train for 40 years and that would never happen.If your not there on time you ain't getting on.

That was crazy how quick you had to get on the train at Kings Cross & it seemed like the train door was never going to open but glad you got back ok & it made me laugh although it must have been stressful for you both. The van looks so good & can’t wait to see the last bits finished. Hope you have a lovely Christmas xx

I found the easiest way to cut thick foam is with an electric carving knife.

Regarding the Pizza Pin wheels ... I just mix all the ingredients in a bowl and then just spread it on the pastry .... sticks together much better especially with salami 🥰❤

Merry Christmas to you both. That was hilarious. My Aunt and Uncle did that exact same thing in Aberdeen but fortunately they got off at Stonehaven station which wasn't too far. Wish we had seen your faces. Stacey and her husband were lovely. They had a great time with you.

I don’t know if you realise or if anyone else in the comments has mentioned it but you got a very famous filming location in, in the Harry Potter films when they go through the wall on platform 9 and 3 quarters in King’s Cross station they actually used platform 4 and 5, I thought nick was going to run through the wall trying to make it to the next train 😂

When we go to york we always go by train from London and although its a lovely station they don't have the ticket barriers, if they did you wouldn't of been unable to get on the platform and therefore not be able to get on the train, but you would of missed your minute in london and we wouldn't of had a laugh😂

York isn't a closed station so you can literally get on a train but that why they have train guards I suppose :)

May I just ask, Guys, what time frame were you in York? I would love to try to plan a trip during the Christmas season. How early do they start with the festivities?

It was around 12th December 👍 for 2 nights mid week, don't do York in December at weekends

I've really enjoyed watching your fun with Peter and Stacey guys. If/when they come over again you should have a look at bringing them over to Lincoln. The Cathedral , Castle and Castle Square are well worth a visit.

Yes we love a trip to Lincoln. We haven't been for a while although that hill in the main shopping area is a killer 😂

It happened to my Auntie when she worked in London she fell asleep on the way home to Farnborough and ended up going several stops down the line before she woke up and got off and had to get a train back, thankfully she had a season ticket so didn’t have to pay again. I would of been so panicked if that had happened to me. My husband fits trackers into lorries as part of his job as a Commercial Automotive Electrician.

We did exactly the same at York Station. We were catching a train to Doncaster jumped on thinking we were on rhe correct train then the announcement came first stop King's Cross. We got about 3 minutes in London to catch the midday train back to York in time to pick the grandkids up from school 😂

@@TheLodgeGuys I wasn't allowed to forget ... my wife reminded me for the full 400 mile round trip! No charge but I had to buy her lunch on the return journey. And Facebook friends had a good laugh at me!

I am very glad you made it back to York and then the Lodge and aren’t still wandering around London trying to figure out a way to get back 😆 I’m sure it was a very surreal experience, and it’s good you managed to avoid having to pay for the unintentional round-trip. I don’t think we saw whether or not you got those seat cushions finished, but I’m assuming you must have, at least eventually. I hope you are having a wonderful Christmas Day, which is drawing closer to a close where you are than here in the US.
