I just realised, that the way baus is playing sion is actually pretty lore accurate. In the 2019 cinematic trailer, baus playstyle is perfectly visualized. Overextend in lane to push minions under tower and bully the enemy until you get 5 manned and die.

Baus has always stressed enjoyment of the game being the most important aspect. Its kind of sad to hear Baus say he isn't enjoying the game as much. He is a true passionate league gamer so if he's feeling burnt out, I feel like the community is feeling similar.

he isn't enjoying the game because he is required to try hard in chall games. I'm not saying he can troll in masters games but it's a bit loosen up considering he can get away with what he does in d1-masters but not as much in challenger since euw chall players can read baus' mind for some reason.

@EmpyrIsAesir Has nothing to do with trying hard and everything to do with Riot nerfing everything about his playstyle. They nerfed sion 5 times. Then after they nerfed sion they took away the items he built and changed them. Then he changed to gragas then what happened? They nerfed the champ and then nerfed the build he did. At a certain point it just becomes annoying. He said it himself. He can get to challenger just not with Sion and that's why he isn't having fun. His style of play was invented for the champion. When he can't play the champion he wants to then the game no longer is fun. Anyone can climb with ease by playing champs that are meta but most people don't find that enjoyable. When riot literally target nerfs one player and that specific player then there's a clear problem.

I enjoy playing sett who has similar to sion nerfs, and I'm there with a melee champion trying to not get perma oneshot by every BUFFED adc like AKSHAN who has +5% dmg and -5% dmg taken. AKSHAN. Who has a fucking permanent quick revive for all the team. In fucking aram. Ok riot

Excuse me? 500??? she’s got BONUS shielding in aram. and sion is -10% damage nerf 10% more dmg taken, -20 ability haste and I can’t even remember the other nerfs because theres so many. Riot games is such a disgustingly shit company. idk how they do/add/change so little, and half the time it just makes the game worse.

Honestly I found the laning phase fine. He was being camped hard but the enemy team was failing so miserably to get a lead on him and he seemed chill. Worst part was the end, knowing he 1v5d the entire game, did more dmg than the other 4 mules combined, and they still lost to a team with 3 people semi-afk chasing a Sion around the map and losing all their health and towers the same way

@@Hoppitot Personally, I find large team fights mid in SR much more fun than laning, so I don't mind. And I couldn't stand Arena. The less factors in the fight, the more it's just about counter picks. Boring. But Riot did fuck up the length of ARAM matches tho.. They last wayy to long now.

No champion you enjoy playing/want to play vs a 2 tank 3 adc/mage comp that just stomps you or you are the team with the better 5v5 champs and just free win. Atleast with summoners rift if you're countered you can play for something else. In Aram you just go forward die kill forward die kill.

top heal/shield items to make you unkillable drain tank are: sundered sky, boots, unending despair, spirit visage, fimbulwinter, titanic hydra spirit visage gives increased heal and shielding, and the fimbulwinter shields will keep you alive while you heal from sundered and unending.

Baus on high elo games and not enjoying them is very relatable. Got top Top 500 in Overwatch and it just became sweat games, super stressful, and not nearly as fun as lower ranks. But, that was my rank at that point and that's all I could play in competitive. It gets exhausting very fast when you're fighting for your life every game.

I will never understand how Varus players can do so little damage when they're on my team, but enemy Varus players one-shot everybody on my team. Your Varus had so much setup it was literally free ult + w + q all day and he somehow did less damage than the enemy LB support or Karma mid...

Also not all champs can afford to build botrk. Building botrk on a crit adc is reportable. I stay correct, Sion forces your team to waste all their resourced combined to be countered, forces to pick same cancerous champions or build shitty items just for him.

Today I had a similar game. I had heartsteel with 2000 stacks and 10k hp but I still couldn't carry. My team's total damage was my damage. Ridiculous. Tank meta is over unfortunately.

100% happened to me for 3 years. Eventually I had to quit the game. I bring 2 for me, most dmg but team just dies 4v3. This was 50% of all games so hardstuck diamond as a winning player, great game!
