It's a different story when all your popular songs are sampled. I think Ava and Coi Leray are in the same boat. Many, if not all, of their popular songs, are actually just sampled from older songs. Like yea... The songs may be bops and fun and listenable. But they will never be seen as real "artists."

@@okranol too much samples for a regular artist in my opinion, and, besides the samples, almost all of her big songs are ridiculously alike, there's nothing special in any one of them, Maybe your the problem sounds just normal, million dollar baby (I think, I don't remember), the same, nothing new, kings and queens besides the sample thing, does not have something special to believe that she's amazing, not even she, the producers, she's just the singer maybe the lyrics writer but I highly doubt that the composition part is made by her, at least not the most of it. @@suazalong from a musical standpoint (i'm a blues musician) anything after 1990 is just flaccid shit - however - i have to say, she does a good job of remaking old songs and at least getting them some more recognition in this modern day. i have to say though, that her music is all that NDR 2 would play for about a year and i have a lot of good memories attached to the music - driving from eastern europe to southern italy.
