This is a pretty big one that a lot of people don't seem to know about. Both the smgs and lmgs have a first shot spread multiplier. It basically means your first shot in a burst will always be accurate ,but the second shot will have a huge jump in spread followed by less significant spread increase with each subsequent shot. Or in the case of lmgs, spread decrease after the initial jump in spread. This completely changes how you handle automatics when compared to bf4; where you could just microburst to maintain minimal spread, doing so in bf1 will make the weapon much less accurate than if you were to go full auto. So remember to space out your bursts with smgs so the spread can reset.

You can blow open locked doors with normal grenades too it just takes more than 1

Hurrying up to go to the spawn screen doesn't not make you respawn any faster it's only useful if you want to switch weapons. Stop doing that medics are trying to revive you!

I just realized that in BF4, you hold your pistol with both hands. I'm so used to BF1s single handed pistols.

Dice should give the lmgs higher damage. They shoot higher caliber bullets than the smgs in this game yet do less damage and are inaccurate as fuck. They should have high damage + low accuracy. I think this would make the support way more viable w/o making it op.

Help full tip on PS4 and I'm sure pc you can click and hold the touch pad on PS4 and see the entire map and any spotted tanks and player you can play you flank strategy instead of going in blind.

Also worth mentioning, elite's on maps can ALWAYS be killed with a bayonet charge. No matter their health you can kill them with one charge. I've seen elites WIPE squad after squad before they ever die from gunfire or a charge.

Tank bullets also have the ricochet effect on other tanks

i have the exact problem you have with medics. i will wait and wait and wait, for a medic who is within 10m and a lot of time right on top of me, but no one seems to ever want to revive.

Reviving even seems to work when you stay in the death screen after the countdown to the next screen. Also in that deathscreen you can keep on watching the enemy for a very long time even after the deployment timer is up.

When using Motar you can also shoot and right click to quickly return to aiming.

here is my advice , when you in a plane and enemy pulls up behind you , instead of trying to out maneuver then simply jump into the rear gun position and shoot them , the plane will keep going forward long enough to accomplish this :)

You can also jump over taller walls than you normally wouldn't be able to in past battlefields. An example would be if you're in a trench, and you sprint into the wall of the trench and press the jump key, you'll reach up and pull yourself over the top of the wall and get over it. This isn't just for getting to higher ground; this is useful for getting past walls that are slightly taller than you. This is really useful for flanking enemies that wouldn't expect you to appear in certain spots or through certain paths.

@Matimi0 Another thing that isn't explained is that in Operations you have to fall back when your sector gets taken by the enemy because when the enemies kill you or teammates in that recently taken sector, it gives them back 2 respawn tickets a kill. Good way to give your attack a boost when you're on the other side!

I play medic the most. I heal and supply, but if I die? nothin...treated like a used hooked on a Tuesday night! Frustrating doesn't come close!

Here´s a follow up on your medic tip you forgot to mention. I don´t even think you know this. You can wait for a medic you revive you TWICE as long >The timer is just showing you when you can redeploy.

Great vid Matt ... The comment about the notification of a nearby medic is a good one but when I'm down the medics usually get closer then as your waiting for the revive start moving further away which is equally frustrating

one thing i picked up on, maybe it has been mentioned. If you are need of health or ammo you can simply tap the spot button on a nearby medic or support. this will make your character scream out for help. this is much quicker than opening the whole squad menu and going to the medic option.

Another thing with waiting to get revived is that once the bar on the right of the kill cam has filled, you can still leave it there for a few more seconds, yes you can now instantly get back into the fight with a respawn but medics can still get you up when the be is full and the revive icon has stopped counting down

What do you think about a turret turn time in BF Games? For example if you move your mouse in a tank the turret will move instantly where youre mouse is but in many other games like WoT or WarThunder the turret isnt moving that fast

A handy tip for when you're playing as a medic is if you see someone's death emblem flash while they're dead means they're redeploy in so don't run out and get yourself killed trying to revive them unless you have to. Saves a lot of frustration playing as a medic.

Only one thing: Please hit Q when you look at enemies to spot them. Can even spam Q in to areas to spot enemies hidings in awkward corners. This helps your teams snipers, mortars and tanks to make the best possible move.

Something I just learned from your gameplay that you didn't mention was that you can shoot the AT launcher from cover by leaning on it, instead having to go prone

Did you know that you can slide? Press the crouch button while sprinting to slide. Also (most people probably know this already) you can lean out of cover if you hold the zoom trigger while at the edge of a wall or under a ledge. This can let you peek out of cover by holding the zoom trigger, then immediately return behind it when you release the trigger.

PSA: if you're the squad leader please give orders for objectives. on ps4 either look at the obj and press r1 (like spotting) or hold r1 and select the orders on the "down" option. place the order that your squad will be working around and EVERYONE in the squad will get more xp. On defense, after the order has been completed, mark it again and the countdown in the lower left shows how long til the next order complete will be.

A Kbullet can take out or disable vehicle and there is targets on enemy vehicles that are weak spots and you can kill the drive in a tank

Bayonet is the fastest way to deal with elite classes like flametrooper and sentry. Also when selecting objectives as the squad leader, the little numbers next to them represent how many other squad leaders in the team have marked it up

In the mortar you can also press B to cancel the camera view to change the position of the mortar.

while riding the horse to quickly switch to the left side just tap B or square and you will switch to the left or back to the right if you were already on the left

Did you know you can hit the gunners in the airship gondolas from under the gondola especially with a sniper rifle

In addition, as a Scout you can connect a Tripwire mine to a door and when said door is opened/closed the mine will explode

Hey matimi0 thank u for the bayonet tip, the Selbstlater 1916 had horrible recoil with the bayonet. I just took it off and went 44-10. I would definitely recommend this tip to anybody
