Arua City is one of the newest cities established by Parliament of Uganda on 28th April 2020 as a Regional City for West Nile sub region, and became operational on 1st July 2020. It lies in the North Western Corner of Uganda between latitude 030 10’N and 300 50’N and longitude 300 30’E and 310 30’E.
It is bordered by the Democratic Republic of Congo on the west, Maracha District in the North, Terego District in the East, Arua District and Madi Okollo District on the South and South East respectively. Arua City is 75km from South Sudan to the North.
Arua City headquarter is 520 Km north of Kampala, Uganda’s Capital City.
Located at the confluence of a trade route between Uganda, South Sudan and the Democratic Republic of Congo, Arua City is a hub of trade and commerce with vast investment and tourism opportunities.

Exactly it is such a beautiful place to leave and work.I went to Arua in 2000.It's my root.The second time was in 2020 and had it not been the phone you guys,I was lost.I often go to Aruan and one time I will go and stay forever.

Yes this is good, ugandan s let's advocate for federal system in that evert tribe abd region gets money from the government to develop its own region, by improving infrastructure and social amenities.

4:39 ; seeing myself(the two ladies in red and sky blue tops) on your vlog. Lol. I actually spotted you when you were vlogging because of the gopro. I then told my friend whom we were with that I've just seen a creator on a bike and pointed at you. I tried all possible search terms that day to get your channel but I didn't succeed. But today, YT algorithm just brought your channel to my home page and immediately I saw the video, I was convinced before watching that it's you I saw. Funnily, my friend (Munduru Freda) whom we were with had found your channel but she never even bothered to tell me😅. Good job gal, keep going. Arua is a beautiful upcoming city. I enjoyed my stay among the Lubaras and in Uganda at large. I'm coming back soon in December. Hope to meet you now😊

Arua being near the airfield there won't have tall buildings just like how Entebbe is it's because of emergency landing incase of accidents. Urban centers near air ports have short buildings.

@@Moshaehiz without tall buildings. It will remain ordinary town. Tall buildings don't reffer to highcrappers. Even in Kampala there is no tall building that can prevent an aircraft to land in kololo airstrip , how about arua

What qualifies as a city in Uganda? That city looks too small in comparison to Eldoret or Thika towns in Kenya.

I worked and lived in Ug for 6 years and transversed 80% of the country and everytime I look at the towns that were granted city status in Ug and just wonder.But we understand this was hugely political...Without any doubt I can tell you Kampala is the only town that qualifies to be a city in Uganda.

But it's not about size not all cities are of the same size, some are small, other are smaller, some are big while others are bigger. If it was the case Kigali wouldn't be a city. And we don't have free land in Uganda like in kenya. Here most land is owned by individuals.

It was intentional. I only covered the busy streets of Arua or should I say CBD. I know other parts of the city but they're not busy so I chose not to cover them
