Slammer was a gem I got to ride it before it's closure in 2017. And there's nothing else like it. It's like hanging upside down on a bar as a kid but on a larger scale So much fun and I wish it was never removed, despite its constant breakdowns due to the extreme maintenance required to run it. I miss loggers leap as well. 2 best rides at Thorpe park in my opinion in all of its history

Being from up North I've only been to Thorpe once in 2011 so feel lucky to have been able to ride Slammer but I missed out on The Swarm. Need to get back there! I am going Alton Towers in June tho

People have been hoping for a new RMC at Thorpe Park. I think an I-Box might be a bit bulky, so I wouldn't mind a T-Rex or Raptor Track being installed.

Theme Park Insanity I guess it’s just preference. I just love the theming on Saw. It’s crazy and messed up. Kinda like the Smiler is. I’m going today anyway. I’ve heard people say that Saw is even better in the dark!

Glad i got to ride Slammer before it closed. Can honestly say it is still the most terrified i have ever been on a ride. Genuinely felt like i was going to fall to my death

Stealth has slow acceleration though and is rubbish compared to any other launched coaster

I'm pretty sure the colossus trains were modified rather that replaced entirely, the restraints were "bulked up" a bit at the bottom and metal boxes welded to the floor all to prevent leg movement

Stealth can’t possibly have the 4th fastest launch currently in operation. I’m no coaster geek but I’m sure Kingda Ka, Top Thrill Dragster, Red Force, Superman: Escape from Krypton, Do-Dodonpa and Formula Rossa all have faster launches than Stealth.

Those are faster in terms of top speeds, Stealth is 4th quickest in terms of acceleration 👍 (e.g. 0-XX in XX Seconds) 🙂

stealth goes 0-80 in 1.9 seconds! mad and considering its a lot smaller then its bros like ttd and kinda ka etc im pretty happy too hear its the 4th most powerful in the world! wouldn't have said no too it being 100+ ft higher but what can you do ayy

Hate the fact the word screw is censored lol. My ps3 name from about 2007. Great Vid, love the vids with other youtubers. Just wish colosuss would get new trains, if your over 32 waist or over 6foot tall its horrible. Im surprised some1 hasnt sue'd for crushing a ball yet. Its about time thorpe did something big, Towers have had The Smiler and Wickerman since Swarm.

Thanks buddy! And yeah Thorpe needs a standout attraction in my opinion. As much as I love Stealth and Swarm, they aren't quite God-tier. We need a God-Tier coaster in Thorpe 🙌

The GCI could've been adapted into the Wickerman at Alton Towers aswell, as both parks are owned by Merlin

It will happen soon I think. Derren Brown was a huge investment which could be considered a flop. I'm thinking 2021 or 2022

@@ScrewyLoops it's been way too long for a major park. When a park like flamingo land seems to have 2 major investments over Thorpe park in the same amount of time (approx) then it's worrying and frustrating. Especially as coaster site 2 was meant to receive it's coaster back in 2015/16

@@twistedcheese1 don't be negative like that. I quite like it. It's a very unique experience being my first gerstlauer ride. 100° drop is pretty unique as well. It's just alot of fun. What's the issues you had with it?

@@DiscreetHobo I love eurofighter drops but I find it rides bad. The layout is decent and the themeing is good. I find it gives me a headache. I like Roufh rides but gerstlauer rough rides I dont enjoy. Take the ultimate for example. That's crazy rough. I guess the OTSR and roughness arnt a good miz

Is it just me or They are just shifting their attention as Alton and not Thorpe? I just want another coaster at thorpe I actually don't even care about what it is. There's literally a space free so i don't get how it's took so long. Thorpe please lol you need something ground-breaking. Alton has Smiler, Nemesis and Wickerman. What do you have?

thorpe has colossus, saw, stealth, nemesis inferno and the swarm. those are pretty ground-breaking. also thorpe park might be planning exodus

Any way Thorpe park is irrelevant look at the other parks in Europe and Blackpool pleasure beach for new rides Thorpe park will add crap cheap gp attracting rides for as long as they can plus they pay staff under the minimum wage as staff have said
