I heard this song in 2015 (first time hearing Evanescence in 6 years during that time); when I heard the lines 'You can't play victim this time' and 'I've made up your mind', that basically woke me out of the ABUSIVE relationship I was in and thanks to family coming to my rescue, I was free from a manipulative, controlling, abusive bastard I was with. So this song is basically calling out to all the abusive jerk-offs that because your former victims are gone, you can't make their lives a living hell anymore and they are better moving forward than putting up with your bullshit.

Amy Lee and Christina Scabbia are my two favorite female lead vocalists. They're both extremely beautiful women that are extremely talented and just simply badass.

Takes me back to my teenage years! Wow! Though I did take a re-newed liking to this song about 5 years ago: my partner and son's father was a drunk and an a-hole toward me and our then baby-boy. I gave him countless times to set his act straight, and told him to choose the life he wanted: us or his single, drunk freedom. Eventually I made up his mind for him and kicked him out.. So the 'I've made up your mind' at the end and the laugh was so familiar to me, because him leaving literally was the lightest and happiest day of my life. This song helped me through alot of that time, also, her counterpart in the video looks alot like my ex.. That was a bonus! lol..
