That "reptile dealer" statue is the most 1973 thing ever. I love it! Alice Cooper was all the rage in '73 and snakes became very popular. So glad she picked it up, especially after seeing the date.✌

You can take the bag, when you check out and tell them you want ….the thing you want, pay the price of the bag and donate the rest of the bag back. I’ve done it before. The even offered me a receipt for a write off.

Hi OMG you should go back for the Baccarat crystal with the silver bands. I'm always on the lookout for it. I recently sold 2 rocks glasses that were chipped for $180.

That tulip pitcher with the discoloration?...... That darkening usually means that moisture is working its way under the glaze, which means there probably is a chip or small crack...... and that means that it's probably harbouring some contaminants so no longer food safe.

Pretty sure the smaller silver rimmed dish was Baccarat and a real BOLO. However, the proportions of the silver band on the larger bowl were more like Dorothy Thorpe. I think they were only stacked together as similar items, not an actual chip and dip. But if I’m wrong and the larger one was also Baccarat, the set would’ve been a great buy.

I have not eaten beef since 2003 (mad cow outbreak) and have been using ground pork, turkey or chicken in tacos, lasagna, burgers, Shepherd's pie, etc. Funny story, my son's friends took him out on his 18th to lose his "steak virginity".

Arcoroc and Arcopal are produced by the French company Arc. Both are shock-proof, long living hard glass and porcellan ware. Their range of dishes, mugs, bowls etc. looks like milk glass.

Those 2 glass things that appeared a little "yellowed" reminded me of all the things that came out of my Uncles home after he passed away. He was a heavy chain smoker. Almost everything was yellow tinged...some was even brown looking.

There aren't any Goodwills in my area. We were recently in the Finger Lakes and I went to a Goodwill in Victor, NY. It was clean, well organized and reasonably priced. I got a Kate Spade keychain for $1.07.😁🇨🇦

I think that the weirdo was a Keebler elf. I recently saw the remnants of a mille fiori paperweight. I thought it could be Murano, but the caning was oddly small so I wasn't sure. Well, as the algorithm gods would have it, just tonight i saw a short on St Louis crystal paperweights and lo and behold, the caning was the same. St Louis is French and still pumping out paperweights at the rate of one style per every two months. The Year of the Rabbit paperweight was more than 4K, but there are those at 13K. I know that St Louis is hitting the secondary market now. The pieces that I have are in the Baccarat price point. The little black pony is obsidian or black marble from Mexico. They did a lot in obsidian, marble and onyx.

You can cook any meat, fish and pultry, chop it and put in your tacos. It is better than ground beef. In Mexico they don't use ground beef.

Yes Agree in ground beef tacos now as 68 year old I do chicken tacos and fish pickerel or as in us walleye tacos since live on lake huron in canada across from Port huron Michigan and lake fish available every day and yummy and do not bother me our taste changes as we age but still love tacos not the traditional flavors but they work for me pork does not make me happy in the middle of the night lol thanks for another great video 😀😍

The Imari bowl from Japan likely had age maybe to the early 20th century. An expert told me the round indent on the bottom is known as a snake eye and I think they stopped the production in 1911.

The carved horse is from Mexico. Usually they are made of onyx, but that one is pretty dark so it may be obsidian.

Obsidian does not have to be solid black. There is snowflake obsidian that has white spots and golden obsidian that has a gold sheen to it. There are a ton of different obsidians, even fire, which is not black at all

I just sold a Rae Dunn plate for $80. Not all is worthless. You need to take the time to research what pieces are worth buying. Even some under the Magenta label are $$. Doesn't the pitcher have a large chip at the base? Also, does the sugar bowl match the pitcher/creamer for your mom? It looked polka dotted as opposed to the geometric.

Don't waste your money on Rae Dunn items. That phase has pretty much run its course and it is very hard to get rid of, especially common items. The only things people really want anymore are the vintage, hard to find items or handmade items. Even the vintage hard to find items are not selling for what they used to sell for. This is why so much of it is in the thrift stores now, no one wants it any longer.

If I find a baggie at a good price, but it only has a few things I want, I buy it, and while still at the counter open the bag, take out what I want and donate back the rest.
