I miss doing this! I made flat and rotary dies by hand for over 10 years! But I can't help but critique how he is sawing the bends! Also, wear gloves and glasses!

started off 28 year's ago ,hand fed crossland now state of the art bobst master cut 142.die cutting and die making sure have changed,nice to c the old way again thank's.

I used to keep my steel rule sticking out of the boxes like you have below your bending equipment while wearing short pants until I had to get stitches in my knee. 37 years die making and die cutting.

A man who can jig-saw and hand make a die - You are a dying breed my friend in the days of lasers and rule processorsPerhaps you can help me? I'm from Ralegh, the UK's biggest die maker - I have a customer asking for side ejection punches and I've forgotten how to fit them (the waste hole size / the chamfer depth / the distance from the punch centre to the hole in the wood) Could you help please ?

Are you using a plastic hammer? I'd recommend pig hide hammers, they are much more durable

what mallet are you using to hammer the rule into the plywood?

Hammer is made of cowhide leather and can be used by Plastic

Since you hammer the steel rule from the sharp side, does the steel rule cut the hammer a lot?
