Probably my favorite paint job yet The gold stripes on top came out perfect. The silver stripe worked once the motor and wheels were in place!!

Kinda reminds me of back in the mid '70s when a lot of the cars of guys I was in high school had wild paint jobs. Every weekend a bunch of us would get together in Asbury Park and cruise the circuit, down along the ocean and back up again. It was a rolling car show of Camaros, Novas, Cudas, Mustangs and any other muscle cars you can think of. Pretty much every other car had a custom paint job candies, metal flake, murals, flames was painted by the same guy. He worked out of a barn on his parents property and was really good. He drove a "Pimped" out VW bug with all types of wild paint. He did alot of the vans then too. Oh, my hot rod was a 1972 Vega GT that was black with cool flame job. :(

The chrome trim is awsome. The biggest problem seeing you paint these tiny cars is when I watch the other guys paint it's like just stop please you just destroyed the car lol. Your pait is off the chart and the customized work is amazing. Love that NOVA it's my favorite real car and would love to have that one. Thanks for sharing.

As usual amazing paintwork. I agree with everything you said about it and in darker lighting I think you need the chrome because it makes the bottom look darker and the wheels pop a lot more. Love the colour combination

Absolutely love this project -- amazing result and the trim line was totally spot-on with those bonzer rims and that fabulous stance. Nice work. Probably my favorite of all the candies you've done so far. I think it's because you used a light touch on the shades of color and limited the use of flake... real nuance. Lovely.
