Another beautifully haunting and sophisticated composition from Lenny Davidson. I first heard this when I was 12 and have loved it ever since! I ‘m almost 72 now! That’s songwriting with staying power! 🎼🥰🎼

This song is a "diamond in the rough". Appeared I think on the album "Try Too Hard", from the spring 1966. Was never a single, should have been. It is the Dave Clark Five's "answer" to the Beatles' "Yesterday". It is better than, in my opinion.
