I feel bad because Roman genuinely was ready to cut his losses and do business with his siblings. Kendall needs something that's all consuming like he mentioned, it's like either taking the company or fighting with his dad is his purpose. I'm fine with being a Shiv apologist at times but with her she has always feared that she'll be shut out by the men in her life which is kind of sad. She didn't have that bond with her mother and she grew up around her brothers fighting for Logan's attention. So much of why she acts the way she acts is the fear that her brothers and dad will shut her out and treat her like their mom.

I hate Roman and everything he stands for but you can see how he's kinda more connected with the average person (listen it's all relative) by his contempt for her hypocrisy. It just bounces off Kendall and Shiv because they are no strangers to acting that way.

yeah, she is riding that moral high horse from the very beginning we saw her it's all fake, and she is just a poser. I loved when she said "money is a social construct" sure, it is, but that is how currently our world revolves. If she does not like all these billions, she could've always give them away.

It is ridiculous how Roman became the most level headed sibling. With all his faults. He was literally the only one invested in starting that business. His main drawback is that he is easily influenced.

@@joshuadoty4682 His main drawback is not being easily influenced. Roman just doesn't particularly want to go against his dad so you won't see the worst of him here. He doesn't give a fuck about making money and I don't think he's ever given that indication, the level of power he has in the trio means he can escape his insecurities for two seconds. He has zero moral compass outside of his family or close contacts, he has no tact and hands out pain but he can't take it when people fire back. As awful as he is I'm not saying he doesn't have any likable or decent qualities, but none of the siblings are the most level headed.

@@joshuadoty4682 bc roman's decision is not coming from a place of being level headed, its coming from fear of his dad. ALL of them are making emotionally based decisions. shiv and ken are acting out of anger towards logan, roman out of fear of going against logan/fear of conflict. people who think he's being logical and super intelligent or whatever are totally missing the point of how logan's abuse has manifested differently in all of them.

It always throws me off seeing Sara speak in her natural accent in the post episode interviews. She does an American accent so well.

That auction bit showed us that the kids have totally no respect for the money. They've overpaid for a failing business just to spite their dad, and most likely do not have the additional funds required to restructure and transform the said business... In the real world they would probably be forced to sell it with a huge loss in like 2-3 years. When you look at the whole series all the kids do is harming Waystar, the base of their wealth. Logan is a bastard, but at least he build something. As we saw at the beginning of the episode only Roman had some interest in creating their own business.

Kendall has an MBA from Harvard, he definitely has at least some knowledge. And before you say "his dad bought his way in!" that may be true, you can buy your way into an Ivy League. But you can't buy your way into graduating. The ultra wealthy actually drop out of university at a ridiculously high rate for that reason. So Ken does actually have some business knowledge, even Logan has acknowledged that throughout the show. Where he's lacking is interpersonal skills and lack of killer instinct.
