Today players are spoiled brags and earn way too much for their abilities. Exceptions for some players who do live for the game. I wanna see Messi in those kind of conditions with flying tackles all over the place. Not having world class players like Iniesta, Xavi, Dani Alves etc. behind his back.

@@ayoo8782 in career achievements, first, repeat his 1986 world cup miracle in similar fashion, Roberto Baggio came close once. second, join a team facing relegation in the most competitive league, and lead them to all champions almost by himself along, in a very short time. no one achieved this except him. in talent, mixed with the pure passion, love, joy and feeling with the ball, the fearless spirit, courage, leadership, all that is one thing, it's so natural and so unique, it's a perfect manifestation of football. hard to imagine someone can surpass that. but maybe someone can replicate it, i hope.

@@bruno2331 Yes football was amazing until around the early 10s. Around 2014 onwards it really started to decline. I'd say it peaked in the 90s and 00s, with the absolute peak being 1996-2008

i veri campi da calcio sono quelli, quelli fatti di fango pioggia freddo ed il pallone che pesa venti chili, campi che ti forgiano e ti fanno capire cos'è il sacrificio, Maradona in questo video fa capire che per lui non c'è stata mai distinzione e metteva la stessa grinta anche in campi che oggi non verrebbero neanche pensati per giocare, dal viso si capisce che ha adorato questo sport ovunque si trovasse ed in qualunque condizione.

I listen often in my country that the good terrains make good players. Even often they use the terrain as an excuse for bad performance and lack of skills. Not the terrain make the player. Even not the pure gift by the God. Yes .I also astonished A footballer like Maradona who could be chance any big club in 1984 coz then already whole world started mesmerised by his sheer talent can join a poor and least popular club in Seri A ( Italian league) like Napoli whose practice ground also such poor condition . Any big player never go to play this type club and condition . He not only played there but could champion Napoli in 2 times in Seri A. It proves Maradona is the God of Football. Rest big players ( like Messy , Ronaldo, Zidane, Ronaldinho etc. only his followers.

When people speak about Messi and Cr. Ronaldo and their achievements, I'd like to say them about Maradona and conditions he had to play under. Medicine, fields, killer defenders and referee who let them break and finish great players' career. Just remember Marco Van Basten. People are impressed by Cr.Ronaldo and his athletic longevity but I'd like to see him in 80-es and how long he would play without modern technologies. And how high class level Maradona showed those times on such "incredible" fields...

Yo también estoy de acuerdo siempre repito eso, la carrera fue muy corta y durísima. El fútbol de España e Italia era corrupto. Sufrió muchas lesiones x la violencia en los campos que fue inrregular en los torneos. El Barcelona no era poderoso como el de Messi, como tampoco el Napoli , Ni hablar las suspensiones por doping. El balón de oro solo era para europeos. Además la gloria eran distintas, los jugadores solo soñaban con jugar y ser ídolos en sus clubes, y ganar la Copa mundial. Nada más el mundial era lo máximo. Hoy en día los clubes son mucho más grandes q una selección. La Champions antes no importaba para el mundo del fútbol.
