yesit is one of the oldest section ..rly construction started by GIP & EIR around 1850..3 loco ar banker to be attached between karjat lonavala as gradient is steep

The ruling gradient is same for both i.e. 1 in 37. On an average, Braganza Ghats is steeper than Bhore Ghats :)
