I have a 2010 tdi q7 with 90k miles. There is a loud ticking when it's at low rpm. I think it has something to do with the turbo because when it kicks in correctly it doesn't tick. Do you have any idea how to fix it?? Thank you!

No big deal not so expensive to repair you need to change the injectors seals Do you see that also in the video injectors and then you have the orange seals this one is leaking and then make it a noise and have the same problem

You might also have a timing chain clatter.

Completely unnecessary work for most people with TDI’s. Maybe in countries with shitty diesel diet but I’ve seen and worked firsthand with perfectly running TDI engines with over 300,000+. Okay with that kind of mileage some injector work is needed perhaps and an occasional glow plug replacement and one usually replaces the ones that don’t work because the car knows which one but this is overkill to the 9th degree people.

gasoline better ....take 1 liter more per 100km....but not every 6 months unbolt the engine ....+ a lot of parts and dpf cleaning....all cost money....

@@TheRazvy1990 just delete the dpf duh
@mooauto23883 жыл бұрын
what do you think about the 2017 tdi q7 ?
@johnnyv20762 жыл бұрын
Delete the dpf, egr, and swirl flaps and your tdi will run much better and you’ll never have this gunk buildup again. DPF’s literally destroy diesels.
