Zach Johnson, the “Millennial Farmer” is a 5th-generation farmer who’s spent his life growing, working, and learning on his family’s farm. His wit and dry sense of humor appeal to children and adults alike. A product of the millennial generation, his appreciation of new technology blends with his old-fashioned work ethic, and he offers a unique ability to deliver his message in a way that resonates with lifelong farmers as well as those with no knowledge of agriculture. With growing consumer awareness about where their food comes from, Zach has identified the need for an independent voice from the front lines of agriculture. Zach actively promotes agriculture by sharing his day-to-day experiences in the agriculture world while providing farmer-to-farmer education to help facilitate a collaborative conversation between farmers and the public.

He's not special for that, most that are from his era are the same. No complaining, no drama, just get out and get with it. If he gets a call at midnight saying he's needed to do check on something, like the dryer, he's just "okay, be there shortly" and gets out of bed. This country, and many other countries were built by people like that.

For the dust on the windows, try dragging a chain on the ground behind the combine. A lot of farmers around us this year were told to do that because it was so dry to help discharge the static electricity. A bonus a lot of them found was the windows stayed clean all day and dust didn't stick to them.

Zach, What you were talking about in the dryer shed is know as a wireless bridge. Instead of running a physical cable between the buildings (tractor hazard) you can put up 2 Wireless access points that point at each other to bridge the gap wirelessly, which will then tie in to the rest of your network. Zach, thank you for taking care of Ray. I have a soft spot in my heart for cats. They are every bit as affectionate as a dog. Hopefully you won't need to purchase LP until next year when the prices are down. I wish I could say the same for kerosene for my shop. I purchase 220 gallons early 2022 before the price hikes. Checked the other day, and it's up over $1.50 a gallon. Looking like the shop is going to be winterized instead of taking small jobs on. You guys need to look into the Milwaukee 1" impact. Know you're a Yellow guy, but they don't offer anything close to the Milwaukee impact.

They said it helped with the dust on the windows. Said it help ground the machine. Not sure if it worked or not but all the famers did that back in the 80’s. The chain was bigger than a dog chain but not like a log chain. The chain only touched the ground by like 2 links.

Hey Zach, you may recall the intense flooding that has occurred along the East coast of Australia very recently and also over the last 12 years. As a result, our federal and state authorities changed the definition of a rainfall event from a 1 in 'y' years to a % chance of occurring each year (Annual Exceedance Probability - AEP). They are the exact same rate of rainfall, just a different description. My point is; the rainfall that falls in (what was known as) a 1 in 30 year event is now defined as having a 3.33% chance of occurring each and every year. Your videos are awesome.
