That toilet isn't too bad. I once went to a hotel where the toilet wouldn't stop filling. I opened up the lid, it was nasty until the tank, but the filling noise was too annoying that we just turned off the toilet water supply.

Is there a way to tell if an elevator is relay controlled if you can't hear the clicking noises?

Watch the floor indicator. If one number disappears before the next one appears, that elevator is relay-controlled.
