The elevator was built by G&R Custom Elevator Cabs and the electronics portion of the elevator was done by Mitsubishi Electric. This is truly a one of a kind elevator. This one is absolutely wild. And look how clean it is - I bet they get on top the car frequently to sweep dust off all the glass.

Epic E-flat pitched motor! Apple did a great job making this elevator look modern.

This elevator is mind blowing! I have seen a lot of glass elevators in my life, but this is by far the most unique installations I have ever seen. I know Apple has some really groundbreaking technology with their devices, but they definitely know how to make a really unique elevator as well.

This is a freakin cool SCENIC elevator! I love watching it go up and down multiple times, lol! That motor is epic too!

That's the most beautiful elevator I've ever seen! It levels so quickly. And it's amazing how well they've hidden the door opening clutches and mechanism below the elevator floor! Good find!!! :-) P.S. I wonder if Beno would try to surf it, lol...

You haven’t seen a New York one yet haven’t you on the street there’s a glass building and then you go in and is greeted with a metal elevator and look up and it’s glass and you go into the basment and you end up in the Apple Store and also metal stairs if you want to walk

This elevator is visually stunning! Gotta be honest though... for me they should've made this one silent! Nice elevator though.

This elevator is truly one of a kind. Fully glass, the button panel, the indicator, the floor numbering (-1, 0 and 1), and of course, the motor!

I was just in Chicago and stayed just across the river from here. Dang I hate I missed this. Were there any door sensors? I didn't see anything that would reopen the door if you walked through while it was closing. Awesome find and take of this beauty.

You know I think there was something similar too this but I was in Luxembourg and I did record it but unfortunately I couldn't publish it because there was too many people, but really epic and it's a dry powered hydro!

Cool elevator! You think you can check out all elevators at Steven F. Austin State University in Nacogdochos, TX? They have some neat Otis' and a few thyssen krups. the dorms and student center are the coolest, but some education buildings are cool too.

Seems that some Apple stores have elevators that are "out of the box" (not your ordinary looking elevator). The Marina Bay store in Singapore has a cylinder shaped elevator while the Ginza store in Tokyo has almost transparent elevators that stop at all floors. This one is probably the best ones! It makes you feel like riding a European elevator than a typical American one!

I live in the area yet I still haven’t got to ride it. I came here last year and you needed to have an appointment to get in, then I came back earlier this year and the elevator was roped off
