Just a quick side note, I never get tired of your stop-motion recreations of the cartoon ad bumpers. That's such a brilliant idea, and executed flawlessly.

God, the overall quality of all the SS86 figs really hypes me up for the voyager Ironhide and ratchet figures. Wreck-Gar, Hot Rod, Grimlock, Slug, Scourge, it really gets me excited

Personally I still prefer the Legends version as it flows better and transforms more smoothly compared to the SS86 version.

Can't say I'm bothered much by the transformation being inaccurate to the original. I'm also not all that bothered by the undercarriage kibble. I mean, I very much noticed it and expected the complaints, but I'm also glad it got mentioned that it does sorta also help give the illusion that the car is hovering. For jets and other flying characters I might be bothered, but for something that is meant to stay close to but not directly on the ground I find this an acceptable compromise. Speaking of compromise, I'm not even terribly bother by the faux head spur. It would certainly have been nice if the figure could have transformed in a way that used the actual head, but the fake part tucks away unobtrusively in robot mode and so I'm willing to turn it a blind eye. This figure might not be entirely perfect, but it looks the part so well in both modes that I just can't be bothered to get upset about what would at most be minor nit-picks for me. If I ever get the chance to pick it up, this would easily slot into an uncontested spot in my collection that would be hard for any future iteration to oust.

This figure is under rated . I almost didn’t get it cause of some not great reviews but it’s one of the figure I end up picking up to mess with most. It’s super solid and a lot of fun to play with and in my option looks better in person. Give it a chance

Well, you’re being honest about your opinions. Blurr is one of my absolute favorite figures from SS86 so far, second only to Grimlock. I do see why animating him would be annoying, though.

The way you handle ads in your videos, the throwbacks to watching shows on TV are real. Worth a sub just for that alone. Also never change that transition, I love the Siege Omega Supreme to ad to WFC Astrotrain transition.

I wasn't a huge fan of the guy when I unboxed him, but I didn't really bother to articulate why. I think you've nailed some of the little details about him that I didn't like, including the paint. Oh and his forearm blade pieces just never seem to lock in place for me. He's cool but only just okay.

Excellent review! Thank you! And, yeah, I'm with you on him needing little tiny wheels. And is it just me, or are the instructions for this wave of Studio Series kind of . . . well . . . crap? I've had to watch "How To Transform" videos for both this guy and Kup to get them right, because I couldn't figure out one small-but-crucial step on each of them that was illustrated from an awkward angle. I swear, I thought my Blurr was misassembled, going by how many attempts in which I couldn't get the arms to work before turning to EmGo's videos.

Your cartoon style stop motion transitions are legendary dude. I have the Titans Return, Generations samurai one, as well as the Animated and wanted to grab this one too, but with the prices of Transformers basically doubling since I followed the hobby a lot more years ago, it's a hard sell even though I absolutely love the 86 movie designs.

As an owner of the Takara Titans Return Blurr, this was a hard pass for me. However, if that had not been an option for me a few years ago, I would have been all over this.

The back of Blurr is greatly improved if you click the nosecone fully into the back, which in the video looks like you didn't do and just had it resting

That's why I collect them and keep my transformers mint condition in package, I was 14 years old when the '86 movie came out and never got the toys then, now being almost 50 years old I can enjoy them on my bookshelf as a collection and can only afford the odd one because I'm now also on disability benefits because I'm a stroke and cardiac arrest and colon cancer survivor

my blurr has a squiffed nner shoulder panel, it wont sit straight when in vehicle mode, and whatever force is acting on the joint is strong enough to move the connected heel around too, so set on a flat surface it wobbles

When I first saw the Titan's Return Blurr, I immediately bought him. I then Bought Hot Rod and Kup. I almost got Arcee, but decided to wait. Now I'd have to shell out at least $100 for one. Too bad for me...

I really like this figure! Well, from what I've seen, I don't own it as I have Unique Toys' Buzzing/Runman. I have been using Kiki on every loose joint in my collection, it would work very well on those knees. Yes, they shouldn't be crap in the first place, I'm just saying that Kiki is excellent stuff.

I actually just got the Shattered Glass version of this guy and am very pleased with it, I think blurr looks neat, but the SG version fits with my mainline collection better, I'm personally just not a fan of how the ss86 face sculpts have an uncanny clash with the mainline stuff, but that's more personal preference

The left arm flap on mine was EXTREMELY LOOSE right out of the box!!

As much as i like this figure, part of me wishes it were better. I have both the 86 version and SG, and both have extremely loose joints. Somehow the SG version has worse tolerances on my copy. But as a display piece, it's not too bad

I got blurr today and he has the same issues except for the hips which are somehow extremely stiff. Annoying to stand and if I do, I can't move the hips without the fear that I'm just twisting parts.

i believe from some upgrade kits he can a good toy but i'm still keeping titans return blurr he just speaks volosotron with his longer lower legs and arms and he has some character traits that make him a better toy dont get me wrong the head is annoying if you even loose his headmaster but for now he's the winner in my eyes

I gotta be honest, Blurr is probably my least favorite of the SS86 line, both of the figures I have (all of SS86 Wave 1 and 2/3 of Wave 2), and the ones I don't have, but I'm not too hard on him as others might be, I think because I didn't pay for him with my own money, my Dad got him for me, which is actually a thing I've noticed, when you get a figure that's not good/you just don't like it, how hard you are on the figure is dependent on whether you spent your own money on it

I love Blurr, but the thing I can't stand about his is his head, both for how it looks and that he can't look up for a good running pose.

In my copy of Blur his left arm thing was WAY TO LOOSE and i had to get a person to put hot glue on the joint because i don't like transforming this guy

Nostalgia aside, Titan Returns Blur is so much better than the S86 one. If you're not trying to match the original as closely as possible, I don't know why you'd take the S86.
