The Raspberry Pi is capable of a great many things. Unfortunately some of them can be less than straightforward to get up and running. Need a web server, a media centre, a VPN, cloud storage, an internet ad blocker..?
Whatever you're trying to achieve (to scratch that elusive itch), let DietPi simplify the task for you. While a Raspberry Pi will be used in this video, DietPi is available for many types of computer.
We'll be creating an image gallery that will be hosted on the Pi, which can be viewed through a web browser on any device connected to your home network - be it a computer, tablet or smartphone - but the steps are similar whatever software you're installing.
