Das ist Berlin, oder? Wie wundervoll, die Sänger meiner Jugend in ihren jungen Jahren zu sehen und zu hören! Die Deutsche Oper Berlin hatte ein großartiges Ensemble zu dieser Zeit und bis hinein in die 80er. Man konnte spontan abends in die Oper gehen und sicher sein, dass man nicht enttäuscht wurde. Vielen Dank für's Teilen dieser Schätze!

Vielen Dank für Ihren Kommentar! Ja, das war die Eröffnungsvorstellung der Deutschen Oper Berlin im Jahr 1961. Eigentlich ist es eine Aufzeichnung der Generalprobe am 23. September, die zeitgleich mit der Premiere am 24. September im Fernsehen deutschlandweit ausgestrahlt wurde.

На мой взгляд один из лучших исполнителей партии Дон Жуана в опере Моцарта. Впервые нашла в Ютьюбе этот ролик и лишний раз убедилась в этом. Великолепный, гениальный Фишер-Дискау!

When I lived in Berlin in the 70's, all the operas I watched at the Deutsche Oper were in German, regardless of the original.

Yes I'm a born Viennese and all are operas at that time where in German. Afterall Mozart was an Austrian. I credit having the Opera sung in the native language may have fostered love of Opera in Europe.
