The drop of blood indicates martyrdom, the state shows the place of birth.
Q&A :
1 - How is a "popular" saint determined?
To determine the 250 most "popular" saints, I ranked the Wikipedia list of saints and blessed by the number of page views.
2 - Is the date of death of the early saints correct?
To establish a chronological order of the saints, I made necessary approximations for the first saints. Assuming that Jesus died in 30 AD, I estimated the date of death of each saint based on the sources given below.
Sources are gcatholic.org, catholic.org and the Ökumenisches Heiligenlexikon.

I am 15 years old and I am belong to Baptist Church family but I love Catholics...I am following catholic traditions and culture...I acknowledge myself as Catholic and I used to go Catholic Church but my parents and grandparents disagree and they said to leave it, in Baptist Church they teach bad things about Catholics and they disagree when I say that I will become catholic priest...but I will never leave Catholicism.... Fun (or sad) fact: the last shown person in this video was Carlo Acutis. He was a devoutly Catholic Italian teenager who created a website to teach people about Catholicism. He died of leukemia aged 15. He was beautified in 2020. Because of his passion for programming, he is considored to be the patron of computer programmers. I am a Catholic. I believed I am called to be a saint, I feel as if God is calling me to show my potential to the world. Also show that your suffering has a purpose, I am currently suffering from a cancer called synovial sarcoma and I believe that God has a lot in store for me. As well as my cancer has shaped my faith like never before. It’s truly amazing how much these saints demonstrated for us how we should live our lives according to thy word and be grateful for everything because, being grateful is the secret to happiness.

Important fact: Saint Hedewig of Poland was a King not a queen. In our tradition "queen" is just title of king's wife. The ruler of the country is always titled king. Even if the king is a wonan.

Impressive how christianity grew beyond roman influences in middle east, africa and europe. There were even saints from other cultures like Olaf II, a norse king that was born in the late age of the viking norway, Vladimir the great, from the slavic Kievan rus', Justo Takayama from Japan or Juan Diego that was born in the Aztec empire.

I think a lot of our surnames here in the Philippines came from saints. There are a lot of Aquino's, Buenaventura's, Francisco's, and many more surnames here. I'm proud to be a Catholic. If you're interested: *Aquino* is based on Aquinas. *Buenaventura* is based on Bonaventure (that's at least what I think). *Francisco* is based on Francis.

I think most of these names originate from Spanish, maybe some Portuguese and Latin. The reason why those surnames might be so popular might be because there is some Spanish in the Phillipines from when it was a spanish colony

When talking about the Saints, it's important to remember this is far from the full Canon, plus a Saint is anyone in Heaven. There are undoubtedly Saints who we have never heard of who are UNFATHOMABLY famous in Heaven :) The Lord sends us His best! Will you be the Saints of the 21st Century?

Carlo Acutis is the Modern and Blogger Saint who emphasized the importance of holy Eucharist in our life.He also wear a brand shoes when he was buried. I want to be like him for wearing that.It is nice to see that there is one who will be a modern saint.👍

Saints Faustina Kowalska and Maksimilian Kolbe were Polish ! They were only born as subject of the Russian tsar because between 1795 and 1918 Poland was occupied by Russia, Germany and Austria and didn't exist as an independent country.

In 12:00 are a mistakes. Faustyna Kowalska and Maksymilian Kolbe were a polish and born in Kingdom of Poland. Congress Kingdom of Poland formally was a autonomous polish state, where russian emperor was a polish king in personal union.

Good job man. I suggest you look into the coptic church and make a similar video. It’s going to be a harder research because there are not many resources, but there are a few resources out there. Also, the coptic church has many saints probably more than the catholic church itself.
