This was one of many of the Different Strokes episodes that put the spotlight on bigotry and racism.

Arnold's lines/quips are funny including the one about him jumping over the wino 🤭 not tipping the doorman.💁🏽‍♂️ and Alice looked like a more modern Shirley Temple🥰, seem fun to be around & was so nice mannered.

Love this series a classic. The new writers mess up the updated versions of this series by having Kevin Hart to play little Arnold.

@@needles1987 I did not know that until *just now* when I saw your comment. (Thank You.) 'Growing Pains' was one of my favorite shows in my teen years (during its original run) and I never missed an episode of Diff'rent Strokes. I can remember seeing Carol's friend 'Shelley' and thinking "She looks so familiar"....and *_now,_* I know why. I knew her from playing "Alice" on Diff'rent Strokes, several years earlier.🙂
