Different Claas Axion 850 review

This is my first review video, i will try to cover some aspects of this tractor which you don't see anywhere else on youtube. Quality of laguage and footage is poor and I am sorry for that, but I really wanted to get this information out there.

Hey there Krystaps. I would like to ask you for your opinion about Axion 850 and perhaps some other tractors. I currently own around 750 hectares of arable land and I badly need a tractor with power range between 220 and 270 h.p. and I cannot decide which tractor brand is better. I have hear fron youtube videos that Axion 850 (the ones made in France ) have problems with transmission, bushels, wiring qnd other mechanical parts. With that being said could you tell me in which country your Axion 850 was assembled ? After 5000 engine hours does it still ride well? No problem with the gears, transmission, electrical cables? sensors are still working well ? How many hectares does he plow?

Hey! Which Tractor brand is better is impossible to answer, as each farmer thinks differently, also i think prices are widely different in each country. I have France tractor, all Axions are made in France. Hexashift haven't broken at 5900mh, but could shift better. Front axle bearings went at axis where you turn wheel to sides. No other major breaks so far. Last year dealer changed bushing in front axle swivel point (worn out, but no additional damage) during winter repairs. Last year it ploughed, cultivated and sow 500ha +other smaller jobs. I'm gonna switch this tractor for Fendt 828, as my Claas dealer is very expensive on repairs and maintenance and Fendt has more superb ride comfort and overall feel is more premium. I have heard about all tractor brands, that they have their own problems, for example some Fendt 8series owners have broken their engines at 3000h or so... I.hope that cause was fixed and my tractor will be fine.

With what machines do the axion has to work??

Currently it pulls Kuhn Varimaster 153 6 furrow plough, can find in this channel some footage, 9m wide Lemken Korund 8 and Amazone Cirrus 4003.

Hi do. Still have the tractor and how many hours does it have on now.? How many hours did it have on when you did the review?

Now it has 5700hours. Then it had about 2800 hours.

After video - starter and air compressor went bad and some hydraulic fitting went loose under cabin, problem were, it was very hard to get to.

Tad nu gan jums visādas problēmiņas bijušas. Man pašam ir 810 Axion cmatic, ne tuvu tik daudz kā tev problēmu un vairāk nekā 3000 motor stundu trīs vai četros gados. Bija ad blue temperatūras sensora problēma (70 eur), kondicioniera radiātors sasala zem beņķa, jo sensors bija beigts ( jāņem ārā beņķis = fun time), klimata kontroles panelis nogļukoja un eļļas trubas savienojums zem kabīnes. Tās arī tik bijušas. Aizmugurē nekas nav darīts (ir 6 korpusu uzkarināmais arkls, taka redz slodzi diezgan). Izklausās ka jums vajag riteņu atsvarus , ja jaudu nevar nolikt uz zemi un var pameiģināt ''paspēlēties'' ar riepu spiedieniem. Esmu dabūjis paspēlēties ar daudz un dažādiem traktoriem, bet vienu varu teikt tiešām - Claas ir ļooti liels komforts, kabīne ir teicama, mehāniski arī viss patīk, vadās ļoti labi. Ja būtu atkal jāpērk traktors no 200-300 zs, pirmais, kur dotos būtu Claas dīleris un interesētos par Axion 870. :)

Nu riepas arī par mazu kopumā - 650/65R42 pie traktora svara 9700kg (ar pilnu bāku bez atsvariem) neko daudz neļauj regulēt. Transportā diezgan lielu spiedienu aizmugurē vajag 1,7-1,8 atmosfēras. Varētu vizināties lēnāk, bet ar diemžēl nav variants. Vispār jau par visām markām dzird visādus brīnumus, piemēram Fendiem pēc 5000 motorstundām motori jūk, utml. Šobrīd pasūtīts Axion 930, cerams ka mazāk visādu sīkumu būs.

@@Ronis88 Jā , riepas varētu būt par mazu, Axionam 850 jau prasās vienu grupu augstākas (650/85r38 vai 710/70r42). Mums gandrīz visi agregāti piekabināmi, tāpēc turu spiedienu ap 1.1 vai 1.2 bar, atšķirība liela. Protams, katram traktoram savas problēmas, tā jābūt , savādāk servisiem nebūtu ko darīt :D . Oho, tas jau ir dampis, bet nu lai labi ripo !
