Actions in my animations take place in alternative Equestria My Little Pony. This universe is much darker. Ponyville, Canterlot, Crystal Empire. Some things don't happen and some things happen differently. Different story, different equestria and different pony. All this in my "Different view" animations!

I think I understand what happened: She overused her gift, taxing her body and magic. At 2:02, crystals/gems start growing out of her body. From then on, when you see her face she has a pained smile and twitching eye. At the end, using magic to lift Spike's fire ruby was too much, and her now crystallized/gemed body snaps. Edit: Re-watched, and at 1:26 she ran out of gems. Therefore she started using her raw magic. Leading to the above. I re-watched Different Veiw of Memories. That is the same cave at the start of this video as the end of that one. She just killed Spike by accident, thinks her sister is dead, and got hit on the head with a falling rock. So she wants to help all she can, even if it hurts her. She's sad going into her home because she doesn't think Sweety Bell will be there.

The fact that that's going to scar her for life sure but she's going to have to tell her parents what happened to rarity that's going to be harder for her because she's basically a kid. Poor Sweetie Belle.😢

To be generous is always good. You have to be careful not to get more help than you can take. Otherwise you end up breaking it yourself.

While it is meaningful to give to others, you must be cautious to maintain yourself and not give so much that you break. If you break, not only are you broken, but you can no longer give help or meaning to others. Even if you feel like there is always more to give, you must maintain some for yourself. That allows more generosity for both you and others in the long run.

Though, to be clear, this is what Rarity has always done Just with the less tragic tone, that, she dedicated her life to helping others, asking nothing in return. Interestingly enough, her loneliness is fairly plainly spelled out in the show, and her dying alone is implied. Though neither is emphasized and drawn attention to. A lost friendship lesson, if I do say so myself

Amazing thing as usual. Rarity did not betray her spirit of Generosity, even if it had cost her everything else including her own life. Even if it was not so significant for others, but made them happy for some time. Nice that finally she received her thanks. Why I love this "Different views" series, is because here, in darker and less happier universe, we still see how M6 remain still dedicated to their own Elements.

If you look closely during the montage part of her helping ponies you can see her eye twitches. Nice detail in a great animation! Favorite animator and favorite singer. XD!

Incredible animation but also, good point of view regarding generosity. We tend to see generosity as something that is always precious, but we all know that everything can have downfalls, even if we don't see or notice them. Being generous is something beautiful, but there is always a point where we should not only take care of the ones around us, but also of ourselves. "Excesses are bad" (Aristotle). Thank you to all those people and ponies that give away their time and make always an effort to help others out. But take care of yourselves too, please, we admire you and we will be here for you if you need us. Don't overwork yourselves.

In a previous part of this story, she had to kill Spikezilla with a ruby sword. -> She could allow herself to be "super-generous" because she was planning on killing herself soon anyways.

The sudden jump from scenes at the start makes it seem like it was her being overly generous as she planned to kill herself anyways, especially with the eye twitching somewhat after the half way point

At first when she smiled at the crying child and started walking away from her, i was like, "what the hell rarity?!". After watching the whole thing (about twelve times) i just can't hold it together when i see her near the end, it is so sad

Like always your different view animations are SPECTACULAR. This happens to be one of my favorite chants too, so double amazing! From what I can gather, Rarity's generosity comes at a huge cost - her element causes her body to slowly crystallize the more she uses it for her generous acts. And eventually she gives so much that her own magic ends up killing her. Its sad, but honestly a really beautiful different view of her element.

This is beautiful. Dark, but beautiful. Rarity gave everypony everything thing she got, even if it hurts her. I don't really understand the storyline, but it seems like Rarity have some misunderstandings with Spike, because we didn't see him _anywhere._ The only hints of him is the ruby heart that Spike gave Rarity in season 2 in the actual show. Notice how she use the last of her magic to pick up the ruby heart at the ending, and to result for her body to break apart, her hoof on the gem. Sweetie Belle must've had a fight with Rarity, too, cause she isn't with the other members of the CMC. Sweetie Belle came home to see another pony giving Rarity a gift basket to say thank for all of her good deeds. Yet when she opened the door, she only saw a sad Rarity, body broken apart, dead. And don't even get me started on Rarity giving a forced smile of pain after 2:09. She is clearly in pain, yet she still gave everypony generous gifts. *sigh* I'm gonna have nightmares after this. Edit: I just realized that Sweetie Belle doesn't have a horn. Not sure if that was intentional or was developed as the story goes.

spike is dead, as a result of becoming a giant unrecognizable rampaging monster in a darker world where ponies are stronger fighters and rarity's self-defense capabilities don't end at "annoy your enemies until they start bowing down just to make you stop."

Reminds me of the old tale of a (I believe) south-american king, who had the ability to turn everything he touches into gold. Of course everyone around him used this to turn their belongings into gold and get rich. This weakened the king however and he more and more turned into gold himself. To cure him, he had to touch gold and turn it back or into iron. As nobody was ready to turn their belongings back, the king died. I might've gotten some things wrong, there are many interpretations of this story. Feel free to correct me, if you know more about it.

@@mby.2391 , В песне не знаю . Но вот тебе моя трактовка анимации . Рерити после убийства Спайка не отвернулась от своего элемента , а скорей наоборот - всё больше и больше начала делать подарки другим . По началу это были лишь драгоценные камушки увеличенные и ограненные её магией . Но когда она сама обеднела , она не удержалась и решила сделать подарок в виде скрипки которую она сотворила из своего хвоста . Этот поступок стал точкой невозврата . Она осознала , что владеет ещё одной гораздо более сильной магией - магией трансформации живой плоти (Очень напоминает историю про магию крови из "Аватар . Легенда об Оанге .") . Будь она злодеем , она бы с легкостью подчинила мир такой силой ... Но она направила эту силу на добро ... Превращая кусочек за кусочком своего тела в новые неразрушимые камни , она помогала всё большим и большим поняшам . Что ей мешало остановиться и использовать эту магию только в самых крайних случаях ? Видимо она тронулась рассудком после убийства и эта магия в сочетании с щедростью стали её своеобразным мазохизмом , приносившим ей удовольствие и успокоение . В итоге она окончательно свихнулась (Том II) , а за сломленным духом сломилась и плоть . Простыми словами , она сама себя убила , но не просто самоубийством , а пожертвовав собой ради других .

И, в итоге, оба умерли ни за что. Ха. Надеюсь, даже в подобном мире его творец найдёт способ привести к хорошей концовке. Оба виновны в своём, но один умер за ложное обвинение, а другая из ложной безысходности. А не за первые свои ошибки. Продолжай в том же духе!) Чем больше таких свободных для спекуляции моментов, притом, что имеющееся не противоречит созданному в прошлом, тем больше появится теорий (Да, красивый у меня корабль? А главное - очень быстрый!)). Может, кто-то будет воспринимать твоё творение так же, как и ты? =)
