Sherpa looks so huggable. It would be hard for me to resist giving him a hug. Recently I met a young gentleman on the local bike path walking his half Husky/ half timber wolf. Beautiful dog. He put his front paws up on me and they easily landed on my shoulders. I'm 5'11". Super friendly dog. 🇬🇧💜🇺🇸

I'm in northern Alberta and have two Canadian Husky and what used to be called Timber Wolf crosses. Only one brother likes to travel. We're not often in the city, but to visit my daughter or son, and their families. We sure get some different looks and responses from people when we walk to the local park with the grandkids or go out to play street hockey with them. haha! Kids are much more brave than adults. They'll come right over to meet Siku. He likes kids. So does Tundra back home, he's fearful of the truck and he gets car sick. Sherpa is a wonderful old man, isn't he? I love that he's so talkative. He has the best life. Many dogs would be envious!

What I found funny is that Sister Sarah stands the way I used to when I was younger; with the legs crossed. My family would sort of make fun of me because they couldn’t understand how it could be comfortable but back then, it was. Now, not a chance can I do that comfortably. Years ago I had a 125lb long haired German Shepherd. He adored babies, children, people and other animals, especially young ones. He could be quite perceptive about problem adults as well and protective around them. Sherpa reminds me of Max. A big dog with a huge heart.
