I practice speaking every time I go to shops or stores. I believe shops are the best places to practice English. Shop assistants have the patient to listen to you because their goal is to sell something to you. So do not be afraid to get into a shop or store, shop assistant will approach you nicely.

I've heard that learning English is divided into output (reading and listening) and input (speaking and writing) skills, with a recommended ratio of 3:7 accordingly. However, most of us tend to practice the opposite balance. Today, my friend recommended reading aloud to me. How effective is this practice?
