Very interesting. Can the final drive cog wheel arrangement be changed on a tractor to increase the speed of a wheel? I took my standard 40km/hr tractor and reduced the wheel size so as to lower the tractor and it is now travels at 25km/hr. It is most important for me that the tractor is low and otherwise it works fine all be it that it travels slower. Can I change the final drive cog wheel arrangement to get back the 40km/hr travel speed?

Theoretically you would just have to change the pinion (drive gear). But in reality you will probably have to change the whole differential.
