Thank you for this tutorial, I learned a lot from it and was able to follow along. I could be wrong but one correction that could be made is making the drive shaft gear a pinion gear and not a straight bevel gear. The teeth don't line up well and this should fix the problem. Not a big deal though, I appreciate the video

From where do you get the dimensions?

either use arbitrary from the internet or design your own open slip transmission and calculate the gear dimensions yourself (like you would in a project etc)
