here's an easy method for building a DG algorithm using mostly TOPs. For the relaxing part, we'll make it like in the 'particle collisions' tutorial. However, the resample part in this tutorial is done in SOPs ...for my patrons, I'll have a resample tool done entirely in TOPs. I got inspired by @benandthemachine and @juhani.halkomaki. I really hope you like this method.

Hi and thank you so much for your amazing work. From the point, where you add the normalize base, things don't work anymore. So I guess, I couldn't do it properly. Do you have a tutorial, in which you build the normalize step by step? Thanks so much in advance 😊

Could you fix it since? I was also looking into that. Points I was missing are 1) you shall mask out alpha too (in the math) and 2) change the composite to divide (instead of default multiply).

Whenever I change a setting in the blur TOP the chain starts flickering as if the chain is in two places at the same time. The same happens with the Patreon file. Does anyone know how to fix this?

changing the blur value during the simulation will always cause flickering because there is a resample that always increases the resolution and resets the points - the blur works as an average between neighbors; A solution to be able to handle quiet blur would be to start from the beginning with a number of n samples and increase the radius of the circles along the way. @@paketa12 For me it worked to set the download type in top to chop (in Resample) to 'Immediate' instead of 'Next frame'. Now I can change the blur without flickering during simulation. Thanks for the amazing tutorial!
