Here is my latest Dig Dug video challenge. I will play Dig Dug for one hour and see how many points I can score and how far I can get. There are some extra goodies in this video that you won't see anywhere else on KZfaq. If you want to know my score scroll down. Footage was recorded using a Dig Dug arcade cocktail cabinet with the following dip switch settings, which are the Twin Galaxies Marathon settings:
Difficulty: B (Normal)
Lives: 3
Extra Lives at: 10,000, 40,000, and every 40,000 points up to 880,000 points
One hour score - 2,067,260 points, Round 130

There was another way how to get all of them with the rock, look at our 5man player! I seen all of of your dig dug video playing. I played dig dug, and a make it on round 88 with 1531350 points. When you arrive to the difficult levels “136,137... “ , just go around the game , and they will start moving a little bit, it’s possible to get 15000pts and pineapple 8000 points all together! ....I like your dig dug playing...

For this video, I stopped after I recorded. My all time personal high score is 4,809,730, which was a kill screen game.

Thanks! Years ago, I participated in an arcade competition, where a timed Dig Dug game was part of the lineup.

+Happy Beard Games Thanks man. I did one hour, because we used to that for competitions and in an unusual fate, I found out after I did this video, there is now an entry in Twin Galaxies for one hour play for this game. I want to boost by score up a bit, because I know a few other can do higher than this. Eventually I will get a camcorder and I would like to go to my Barcade and do gameplays of other titles. Thanks a lot for watching.

I need to pick up a legit copy of this. Never actually played the arcade, but when good plug and play joysticks started popping up I played this/that port the most

Exactly, i have to share this. I played the arcade one time, and you get the last live on 2.500.000 points.

Neo, when you finished your game with 4809730 points, ok, but when you were on level 255 how many lives did you have

Oh my gosh! Neo, there is also another tip of dig dug, that you get the last life on 2.500.000 points.

I mean extra lives until 2.500.000

@@Baldrick1012 That is incorrect. Depending on the dip switch settings, the last extra life you earn is at 880,000 or 900,000 points. My 4.8 million point game was played on marathon settings, which is Difficulty B, 3 lives to start, & extra lives at 10K, 40K, & every 40K thereafter up to 880K.

Unfortunately I no longer own the cabinet. I sold it when I moved a couple of years ago.
