As a junior high school student listening to this song in 1993 was eye-opening and mind-expanding. I had instant respect for DPS for having broached this subject.

My favourite hip hop collective/group of ALL time. They were the first exposure to rap music for me, when I heard them at 4 years old back in 1993 ✌🏾

Thus song is one reason a lot of us gripe about today's hip hop its o e and done. Put out a song let it play and move on. Back then we had songs that came out that we talk about 30 years later that made us think. We need more than just talking about bands ops and plugs
