logger 18 hours ago These are great little machines for the price. I have one that I have put over over 100 hours on it in the past few months. Levelled sites for sheds including one with a cutting into a hill side. Cleaned out drains and dug post holes. Trenched underground power cables and dug out loads of stumps. Mine is a slightly newer variant, with improved engine access, but has all the same running gear and engine. It is single cylinder Yanmar clone made by Koop. 10hp, rattly as hell & you really need to wear hearing protection if you spend any time on it. 5ltr fuel tank runs for 8 hours. The engine is fumy and does not meet any modern emission standards, so you wont want to run it in a confined space. fine for outside though. I have been a bit fastidious changing the hydraulic oil very early, the engine oil every 30 hours or so & keeping the grease up to all the pins. I figure it is built to a price, so you cannot afford to neglect the maintenance if I want it to last. It is no where near as Jerky to operate as in this video, once you become proficient at operating it. It is very slow with a top speed is 1.9kmh, so you would not want to have to travel it any distance. As someone else mentioned, press turns on the grass are the way to go or just turn very gently. Mine came with swingboom, three buckets, a ripping tine, a thumb, a rake and a 20cm posthole auger. Surprisingly I have found a use for every one of these attachments. 1

It's satisfying removing stumps with an excavator! I got about 10 smallish ones out with a 1.5t Kubota, but the larger ones (about 35 1ft dia connifers) needed a stump grinder - which was also satisfying to use. If you do not start the stump removal dig well away from the stump itself and attack to sever the roots, good luck.
