We got out before the heat and did a little park metal detecting with the Nokta Makro Legend and Minelab Xterra Pro metal detectors before drawing the winner of our GIVEAWAY!

you guys have really progressed from the early days of your channel. Remember sending a star trek pin to a guy in Ohio? Yep I still got it pinned to the front of my Garrett ball cap AND I still wear your old raggedy "Diggin so-cal" t-shirt every time I go out scanning. gotta use a cheap analog scanner from walmart since my Garrett got stolen but I still have at it at least once a week. Glad to see you guys got monetized and have some paying sponsors now. Pretty cool to see somebody do well in these times. Especially in Gavin Newsomes crumbling wasteland. Thats amazing that you've come so far you now both have multiple top of the line scanners and pinpointers all the latest equipment and even giving away high dollar top of the line scanners!!!! Thats just amazing to those of us who have been subscribed since the very first video

Thanks for the reminder... Yes, I remember that star trek pin... my mom was a fan. We are amazed at our journey thus far and feel blessed to have a core group of people who we get to interact with. We never imagined being monetized but here we are.... I am always scared that my truck will get broken into... We really don't have any paid sponsors but we get requests a lot. We don't really want to feel like we owe anyone or obligated to do what they want. We try to use the little money we get from KZfaq to buy things to give away. So far it is working out.

@@DigginSoCal Yes I would say you are blessed. I worry sometimes about my pals in CA. because of all the horrendous news reports and the pictures of every street lined with homeless encampments, nobody getting arrested for the daily horrible crimes happening everywhere, defacating in the streets and doing dope right out in plain site!!. The bible tells us the potter's parable, where it says "who is the pot to question the maker? For some pots were made for glory, yet other equal pots were made for destruction". Ever heard that parable? My 4 miserably failed efforts to start and run a successful metal detecting channel on this platform has shown me clearly exactly which pot I was made into!! But it is soo nice to see normal average people actually be the "Pots made for glory" on this platform. Your pal Danny

Police and Fire engines in Windsor, California (Sonoma County) used the European sirens during the “Tubbs Fire” in 2017, because it started in the middle of the night!! So they needed a different sound than the regular sirens to get people’s attention!!! So they do use Christine’s Be Do Be Do!! LOL

We need grass and wood chips in parks. If nothing else natural materials keep things cooler. So important in our increasingly warming summers.

I agree.... that rubber stuff is not any cooler. But I will say that I went out to a park real quick today and even the heat coming off the wood chips was bad... did not stay long.... early morning hunts only in the summer I guess

Actually someone sent us a couple... crazy what they come up with. We just ordered one of those boards to put all the croc things on.... We have found too many to put on the actual crocs.

I like the beach so we may just have to get a beach house.... I could claim an area of the beach that is off limit to all other detectors...lol. I tend to bend the probe a lot but it is easy to fix

Yes... and I hit my head at the last park but it was on a large rope so it did not hurt too much. To my defense, there were no signs at that park
