I think with the VB using NFC, and the switch also having built in NFC, bandai is missing an opportunity to integrate the use of the VB in a switch-exclusive digimon game.

So, some extra information: - The Vital Hero is compatible with Japanese Dim cards. There will be absolutely no issue, however Japanese Dims will still display Japanese names (they are image files, not text). - Although Vital Hero is confirmed to be on the same programming as Digivice -V-, the back of the Dim packaging claims that Dims can only work with *one* Vital Hero, which is a Vital Bracelet limitation. The V bumped the limit to 3 devices. It's possible this is incorrect, or Bandai US re-implemented the restriction. - The Wolf Howl Dim featured with the blue Vital Hero is a modified version of True Shadow Howl. Another Dim, Dinosaur Roar, is known to exist as a similar counterpart to Mad Black Roar. These Dims swap 5 Digimon out and replace them with the Vaccine versions of Agu/Gabu's lines including Omegamon. Dinosaur Roar is *nowhere to be found at present* but it appears on the Vital Hero packaging, suggesting a missing third device. - Wolf Howl and Dinosaur Roar are already added to the app, which means they are considered separate as well as compatible with JP users. This also means they will have their own templates and rewards to grab.

Glad the vital bracelet is getting an english release and I can't wait to see the amount of vital heroes will be bought. I only have the digivice v so I'm good

I found out that something similar to the Vital Bracelet was made for the Inazuma Eleven franchise when the newest anime came out a few years back. It's called the Eleven Band and has some extra interactive features like minigames (all in Japanese unfortunately, so I have no idea what they are), and it uses NFC cards to swap between characters. The one I ordered arrived today, and it's pretty cool so far! In terms of the Vital Bracelet, I'd like to see more DiM cards available outside of Japan. I could see them making Dragon Ball cards and maybe Saint Seiya. Personally, I'd love to see Sailor Moon or Yu-Gi-Oh cards, since they're also Toei properties.

Honestly I have an idea that's gonna be a million dollar deal with a personal A.I. digimon program. Able to to connect to systems, phones, video game consoles, TV's and ect. Keeps in touch with your friends by telling your digimon send a note or have your digimon remind ya have a date and time. As well help you with anything else that is electronic program possible. Grow and teach each other. As well the fit bit and the care programe. All in one. I'm just not smart smart to pull it off.

Glad to see this is finally getting a US release and that is based on the V2. So I'll definitely want to pick it up. Especially since I've been loving my Kamen Rider one. Though I do want to see what this 3rd gen version is going to offer first. And on the topic of other series getting added, I'm not sure. Seeing as the Kamen Rider and Ultraman VBs bombed in Japan and now go for dirt cheap when compared to the Digimon versions. That's how I got mine. It could be due to the lack of some features like battling in the app and no cross-compatibility between the DiMs and VBs that caused that VBC to tank. There are new Rider and Ultraman DiMs being made but they're primarily Pbandai only because they haven't sold at retail. So unless this 3rd gen Vital bracelet can allow cross-compatibility between different series I'm not sure if Bandai will try to do other series with the Vital Bracelet.

I just hope this means they are re releasing all the DIMs.

I've been fairly concerned about how the packaging didn't really display anything solidly in terms of emphasis of Digimon, but the explanation you gave made a lot of sense to me, thank you for that!

I'm not quite sure what to say about that. On the one hand i'm happy for people who live in America and finally get a vital bracelet now without having to ship/import it. On the other hand, what about Europe? Are people in Europe left out again? If so, I feel kinda bad for them. But releasing it in America is a good first step, I think. (And hopefully it is just the first step and not the last.) (Btw, I also have Gammamon as my VB partner. I love it so much!

I freaking love the tamers era digivice. Coolest one ever. Still don't understand how we don't have that level of toy integration today. And personally, even though I'll still buy one, I hate the fitbit design. Least creative digivice yet.

It's fun that so many people couldn't get the vb but I literally bought it from Amazon Japan (I live in Spain). And fun fact, it cost even cheaper than buying it from resellers.

Happy to see this coming to the USA I've been interested in it but wasn't sure if it be easy to work given it would be in Japanese so picking options could be a pain. it is odd Agumon isn't a choice in the beginning set of Digimon here I really want Veemon but I get he'll probably be later but Agumon he's like the Mascot of the franchise odd not to see him. a series that would of been cool to see on these would be Power Rangers or Ben 10 sadly Bandai doesn't make their toys anymore

It sounds like they didn't really had to change much but packaging, as not a lot of western know about Gammamon, so they slap in Gabumon instead. But I'm probably still order my stuff from amazon JP, I mean no need for proxy when they do international shipping

Nvm just make a vital bracelet with the care mistakes and random battling intell bed time. Also add more digimon to fight. Screen could widen instead of a vertical view. Instead of watch wristbands. Have it switch to a wider wristband to 2 inches and a better grip on holes. Use a double rubber lock to bind the band together. For the final add more screen icons such as, check care, play games 1 & 2 mode. For the store on the app. Have it able to buy back grounds for the watches. So others can have their favorite backgrounds with their digimon. I've got more digimon ideas. But that's all that's real. I've for one the could possible make one real. That's another time thou.
