I'm so pissed at my local game stores. Even the most "honest" ones say that EX6 cost more to purchase from Bandai than previous sets, so that's why they're selling it for over 100 usd. Bs.

Definitely not true, just like all other ex sets, ex6 was 59 dollars and change from distrbutor

Out in my local area in Tennessee, we have 3 stores that carry Digimon. Between all of them, 1 store got 5 boxes (seems like a weird number, but I trust the shop), 1 store got a case (a pretty big card retailer with multiple stores), and another store got 6. It's just... Not making it out here. Whatever distributor is over the East Coast is killin us :(

Yea they sold them at my local story for 100$ it was insane. And its like the only story around me that carries digimon. Its sad. Luckily i pulled alt Mirei so i didnt get burned.

All of vermont had their allocations slashed to almost nothing, and from what i have heard that is a pretty common thing amongst other lgs's in the states as well, so the price on boxes isnt that big of a surprise.

I truly wish that each sets SR were good cards - having to pull Ragna, or Chaos... I know im not the only one who lets out an "oh man" Shocker that Bandai, Wizards, Pokemon, ANY tcg company prints bust cards that no one wants with that one person who they use to justify making it. The day an entire set release has highly usable cards for each colour... I can dream

People manipulating Mastemon ace AA. There were many vendors with upwards of 30-50 individual copies of this card, the small cheap ones were purchased and the whale's keep de/relisting their ridiculous stock every few hours. But this is an artificial hold. This bubble WILL pop.

Picked my playsets of aa seven great demon lords on Friday. At that time, prices have settled a decent amount. I also got 85% on top of that to “assume” further price drops. However, with how little the lgs got and how hyped the set is, I don’t expect prices to drop lower. And after a week of playing, I expect prices to settle or climb.

How's this for cheap? Managed to score 3 standard art Lucemon: Chaos Modes from a game store in Australia for AUD$14, so under USD$10. If they had more, that would have been a tasty little investment

All of the Ex sets have had self-contained decks that were competitive, but only for a limited time: Machinedramon, D-Reaper, Examon, DNA Omnimon, and Devas. I would expect Demon Lords to follow the same trajectory, and it's not worth investing in unless you're really a fan of the characters / lore or playstyle.

From what I heard from a few, the set got short printed. So probably why the prices on boxes are so high up.

Yeah, our distributor told me the set got oversold and Bandai didn't send them enough to accommodate the supply.

I gotta say I did not see this turn of events coming, and so soon no less. Definitely got hosed on ordering the Ogudo alt art, because hot dang did it just halve in price by the end of the weekend!

I saw you post a box for sale on Facebook and compared it to 401 Games (Canada's biggest TCG store). Your price was $20 cheaper and you don't even charge tax.
