BT16 CASE OPENING LET'S GO! Today I'll be opening 2 cases of BT16 and taking some time in between boxes to record the numbers. Because in a follow up video I'll be giving you the run down on whether Beginning Observer is a worthwhile. While I can just say it's good or bad, that's all subjective! I wanna give you quantifiable metrics!

31:00 you do get your when Digivolving effect. Venusmon's When Digi/When Attacking prevention is Opp Turn only. Also if you alliance with Shuu Yulin and you check security you will not get your immunity because you have SA+1 from Alliance which makes Venusmon live. She will prevent the [All Turns] from activating your [When Digivolving]

1:07:00 You can infact choose the order between pierce and the trash effects. However pierce just allows you to continue making security checks, it doesnt actually make the security checks. You would still trash the top two before you continue on doing your next check. So you **can** order them but it does nothing functionally Edit: Also you only need piercing to begin doing security checks. If you lost piercing it would not stop your checks after youve already solved piercing post battle.

This is wise information to know! Hindsight after a full night's rest that does make sense because piercing initializes the checks. It's not like Sec Atk +1 where it's constantly checking.

At 36:00 even if Davis said to play a Veemon you wouldnt have to. No card can force you to play specific cards from a private zone like the hand. A common instances of this is bt14 Angemon's inherit.

For sure! I wanted to double check on this with Kipp because if he can save a card in hand for later use, it'd be better.

DeathX should have crashed at 11:40, -4 from MonzX and -3 from Monz on play, 15-7 = 8k same as monzX

We caught that mistake later in post game discussion I believe. But accepted game state at that point ha ha.

In game 1, wouldnt the veemon played after the valk blasted just immediately die without activating its on play? Valk ace is a blanket effect if i remember right

Youre correct. Sounds like they are new to the deck so its easy to miss. He should have never gotten the search and the Valk should have been +1SA on his first check because of it

100% correct. I've only played Imperialdramon with a count on just one hand. That being said, you are correct! The blanket effect persists through the entire turn.
