For the eighth deck profile, I bring back another oldie Diaboromon. With Diaboromon ACE making an appearance in BT14, is the deck viable for Nationals? Personally, I think it has some advantages but overall, it's not a list I'd take. This list is by no means perfect but has a few fun new elements to use. Hopefully BT17 brings it altogether again, but for What Ifs, I have some devious ideas.
Future adjustments may be made. But as of right now, you have tools to help refine it to your style.

Quick minor revisions. When Diaboromon ACE digivolves, it also counts itself. So from the get go of digivolving, if there's no other Diaboromon token, you'll be able to delete a playcost SEVEN or less. ACE Digimon also count. This is a minor error.

It's worth noting that Diaboromon Ace will also check for itself as a "Diaboromon" so it actually will almost always delete a 7 cost. Ex5 Etemon is tempting as a 2 of to force the Ace, but I think Mamemon is more important. I personally think 2 of the Ace is fine (1. Because I don't want to buy more and 2. Because I think ex6 Diaboromon can carry the deck more) a second Armageddemon is nice for the extra swing and floodgate. I do like the inclusion of the bt5 Infermon since I think that card is underrated until we get the warping Keramon. This is probably the main deck I'm hyped for in ex6. Being able to recreate the end of Our War Games with tons of tokens if going to be a blast!

Ah my bad! Right of the get go it'll delete a play cost 7, meaning most ACE Digimon just get obliterated. EX5 Etemon is definitely seeing a lot more mileage! I could see it as a 2 of as well if you're wanting to expand what the deck can do. And with DP reduction it can also wipe out another flood gate. Definitely great ideas!

@DIGI-PANDA I think I could see Etemon being teched in post bt17. It's inheritable can play Keramons, so if you happen to hit bt17 Keramon, you threaten going into another Infermon. Plus, it trashes the rest, which will be good for getting into the new Armageddemon if you play it as a 1 of.

@@bugking1413 I think it is usable in EX06. If you have an EX06 Infermon on the field and slap down a Etemon blast onto the Infermon, dedigivolve, pop the level 5 or armor level 4, then the level 3 dies into security (assuming armor). Possibly even stealing turn if there is an Ace in stack. Then next turn you evo into the EX06 Diabormon to clear out even more.

I am going to be running dorimon eggs as gaining a memory for blockers who are deleted has pretty good synergy

Might I suggest Analog Youth? The new stuff really wants to die, especially tokens, so you can be getting memory off that as well as putting your Unidentified in trash to get the Arata memory.

the non pure buidl has armageddemon witch is white so the mame plays izzy is not always 2 cost to evo just pontining it out.

Dude, I literally just bought ALL the old Diaboromon staples last night before the prices spike in a week or so, then you unload this, lol. That being said I don't think I'm gonna build the deck til BT-17, so I can finally fight with the full proper deck he deserves.

I think you need the rush kurisari at 4, the memory one is probably the one you need least now with trainings. Also free Aratas are good.

You absolutely can! I think whether you go 4 Rush or 4 Memory ultimately depends on whether you're going for a more defensive or offensive build.

I think Mamemon is just better than any of the old Infermons. Deck is too dependent on finding Arata Sanada right now. I hear the BT17 versions are less dependent though. But you can also do some tricky shenanigans with Etemon EX05. Though, the EX01 Infermon could be good if you can manage to get an extra 1k or more on the tokens to avoid the field wipe -5k effects. It should also be noted (for those who don't know) the Diaboromon Ace deletion is a may effect. So you can wait until the final token is played to active the deletion effect.

Question revarding diaboromon ace, are there alternatives to the 4 ace cards if we do not have access to those? Is it better to replace with another ace or focus on the orher svailable diaboromons even if they arent color black?

There isn't a better option unfortunately. While the Diaboromon ACE is blast digivolution, it has a when digivolving and when attacking effect that spawns a token. This combines elements of BT2 and BT5's Diaboromon. As for removal, this is the only card that does removal. Your other options for blast digivolution largely depend on what you want to do. Vikemon ACE? De-digivolve and delete Digimon with x number of sources. MegaGargomon ACE is also pretty good for stunning Digimon from digivolving.

@@DIGI-PANDAhey thank you so much for the reply on this! Ok this makes a lot of sense the way you explained it. I'm new to the game and really like the mons within the black color group and am focusing on collecting and playing it so this helps a ton, and something I will look that ace diaboromon in the future as I collect but will keep that in mind if I play without it and understand the limitations without it and where to fill in the gaps
