One thing I think you missed was them reacting to how much influence a human has on their partenrs form, referencing SkullGreymon. So keep the kids mentally healthy and don't give them morally ambigious mentalities. Also Matt should have gotten tons of therepy as he tried to ACTUALLY KILL his friends.

You do realize that this was kind of explained in Tri, right? The original Digidestined (Daigo and Maki) know what it's like to be a Digidestined, so they're protecting "our" Digidestined exactly from what you described by infiltrating and/or founding an organization responsible for monitoring the Digital World-related phenomena. But we can see that "our" Digidestined are still being monitored all the time. We just didn't know it in Adventure and Adventure 02.

Now here's what I think would happen, first and foremost it is most likely that the digidestined would be studied, but it would be more like medical check ups rather than inhuman experiments, simply because they still need those children and bring harm to them would be more or less going to harm them in the long or short run. Afterwards the various governments of the world would establish organizations similar to Data Squad, now the children would most likely not be forced to join up as messing with a group of people best friends with a giant cyborg lizard killing machine with the firepower of a nuke is a really bad idea, instead the countries would more likely to offer military and economic protection to them and their families and due to the recession and cults created due to the devastation, most digidestined would sign up for the program. This would be seen as favoritism by the people and resentments would grow for the digidestined, which in turn would give more incentive to join, though in the future the government would have to find a new incentive, after they get out of the recession and the cults start losing steam. After that they spend the next decade or so rebuilding, this would also be a period of peace, as the devastation would not allow the countries to fund a war and would be focused more on rebuilding. During this period the Digidestined would act more like the digital border control and would deal with or capture Digimon that came to our world. In this age digital technology would see a boom due to more funding for it and they would also look into the digivices possibility reverse engineer it and get more digidestined, though if they would succeed is anyone's guess. The countries would more or less quarantine the digital world, until they finish recovering, then they would attempt to colonize the digital world for it's resources and that when the countries would start fighting each other especially for the areas where digieggs are born and any chrome digizoid. Now what happens next is anyone's guess really.

ricky johndon That is true, however, you have to also realize that it's 13 of them trying to stop thousands of people from doing so. The Royal knights are strong, but you have to realize that Tamer Digimon tend to be slightly stronger than just plain wild ones, you also have to factor in what military tech that would be used to support them after all they would likely be using what they know about the Digimon to create something to be able to fight them or ways of powering up Digimon or finding the best ways train a Digimon and their numbers would be far more than them, granted theirs would be some tamers that would fight for the digital world, but they will be few than the ones fighting for Earth due to the Earth being their home. You also have to realize that the Royal knights might not unify to fight humanity, after all there are plenty of times, as in almost always where the group gets into infighting, heck we see two Royal knights flat out join the side of evil in Frontier. So a Royal knight actually joining with humanity might actually happen since there is merit for Digimon to join with tamers and there are members of the Royal Knights described as willing to do anything if it brings peace. You might be thinking what kind of merit humans can bring, but you realize that Dark masters have taken over the Digital World and the digidestined and their partners where the ones who stopped them, so it wouldn't be farfetched to think that they may believe that humans should be allowed to do this as it would stop something like that from happening in the future. To be honest it really can go in many ways, but I honestly believe, thanks to the group's previous history of infighting and some of the members themselves, the Royal Knights would simply be divided and not be much of a threat due to that. Also one more thing they really haven't stopped people from trying to conquer the Digital World in the Adventure storyline. I mean both the dark masters did it and they warped the entire world into spiral mountain and heck Ken a single human tried to do that.

Let be honest. Kids would be killing each other left and right. The fact that most of the Digi destined don't completely abuse their power is pure idealism. It would be pretty cool having a Digimon partner to bond with and watch them grow stronger .

In my opinion, the most likely scenario would be the government agencies like hypnos from tamers and DATS from season 5 would be formed. They would most likely recruit digidestined as special agents or something along those lines.

I just had an interesting idea. Lets assume that season two doesn't exist and the 8 digi-destined are the only children able to control Digimon (lets just assume digimon popped up all over the world when the world was going screwy and vanished when the kids saved the world). How would that effect the time line? Regardless, I think after the kids return home, the government would most likely have them taken away to some kind of undisclosed location for observation. They would be kept under constant supervision as the gov learns everything it can about the digital world and the effects it had on the kids. This would also be for the children protection as their digimon can no longer protect them from the looney's and possibly other evil digimon who may come a knocking. Their mental health would also be a priority as it wouldn't take the government long to put together the effect that has on a digimon once they here about Skullgreymon.

Interesting theory I would imagine that in the cases of armed forces very digimon conflict, conventional weapons could probably be used to take down some ultimates and a few megas. If we look at say, the Dark Masters. Probably the only one that the army could maybe take out is Puppetmon, and unless it was the army getting the jump on him with overwhelming force, there would be casualties. Machinedramon and metalseadramon, I imagine would be a struggle to even harm them, and most attempts would probably see the human aggressors utterly crushed. And Piedmon? Outside of a nuke I can't see him going down, and what's to stop him from magicing that into a keychain and sending it back in the mail?

The idea that makes the most sense to me is the difference between a real-life person fighting someone with a health bar from Mortal Kombat. Sure you put bullets in them but they are still functioning until their HP hits zero. That real life person however takes a bad hit you're done even if they aren't dead.

So one thing you have to take into account is most digimon have guns and missiles and aren't too affected by them so assuming that higher levels have a higher fire rate and more powerful ammunition and thinking of missiles the same way I think Humanity might be able to take on a weaker ultimate but nothing stronger

The Jurassic Warewolf yes but like i said megas and super ultimates can tank ultimate level attacks like it's nothing and like you say Metal Greymon can hit with the force of a nuke so you would have to bombard them with a bunch to do damage with the chance of killing them and even so with the damage to the area around them would it be worth it Plus if somthing like yggdrasil thought too many Digimon were dying in the human world to help them he might send the Royal Knights and then Humanity would be f***** you see in Tri they can't even deal with one

You forgot to take into account certain digimon with special armor Like those with chrome digizoid Those metals are said to be virtually stronger than real world metals In fact real world metals cannot even hope to compare to chrome digizoid Mugendramon alone could be unstoppable

Digimon above the rookie level consistently show abilities that go far beyond any human weapons except maybe a nukes(for champions). Mega and ultimate levels can be compared to digimon said to destroy/absord planets, stars, black holes, galaxies, and even multiverses! If even one mega (or even ultimate) level digimon enters the real world their is no human weapon (from the real world) that can stop them.

Minor misstep. During the Myotismon attack, the only Digidestined were the 8 chosen children. More popped around the world after witnessing Omnimon's fight with Diaboromon on the internet, as it's canon that only children who have had some form of prior encounter with Digimon become Digidestined, hence why out of every child in the world, the chosen 8 all came from the same neighborhood after witnessing the same event.

The best example I can think of on how to describe what would happen if digimon came to the real world and there were digidestined would be the plot of X-Men. Governments would see Digimon as a threat, some would see people with digimon partners as traitors while others would want to exploit and control them (Senator Kelly/Stryker). There would also be some people with partners who would use their digimon to gain power and commit crimes, and would feel justified in doing so with the government kidnapping/detaining people with digimon, plus evil digimon tricking people into doing their bidding (Magneto/brotherhood of mutates). You would also have people with partners trying to set a good example were they aren’t controlled by the government but remaining law abiding citizens (Charles Xavier).

There is 1 flaw in your plan. Mutants gain all that strenght because most of them can attack when alone or survive guns. A normal human cant survive a grenade, no matter how big and strong their digimon partner is a sniper could take them out before their partner reacts and then we have a partnerless digimon. It's not going to work unless your chosen people can "transform into the digimon"

For the most part, this theory would be accurate. However, I would like to add that those legion of Gennais might intervene in some form or fashion to protect the kids if necessary or at the very least they would help keep the Digital World safe. I think you should have also taken into account, like I think they mentioned in season 2, that the governments of the world would try to go to the Digital World themselves; I don't think they would just give up so easily. If anything, they would probably do what they did in Digimon Savers and find a way to create a Digital Dive; I also think a similar organization like DATS would be founded too.

Your theory is interesting, however it only assumes the events of a real Digimon invasion were to play out like the events of the anime. What if there weren't digidestined? What if it were more like Tamers or Data Squad? Digimon just start appearing for no adequately explained reason and the majority of them so far were wild ones attacking and killing humans. Naturally the military would react and fight back against the otherworldly creatures. But of course digimon can just come back to life, digivolve back to whatever form they were when they died and resume their attacks. So we would be dealing with practically unkillable monsters who pose a potentially extinction level threat to humanity. As for the possibility of digimon with human partners, be they children, teens or adults, these people may be studied as you suggested. Or possibly even recruited into our armies if it turns out there are digimon who can't be killed by human weaponry, but by other digimon only. The government may even try to find a way to make more people into digimon tamers if that's what it takes to defend humanity from the wild digimon. Of course, while there may be good tamers like the digidestined, chances are there may be just as much less moral people with digimon who would use their digital partners or slaves for more nefarious deeds. Mischievous people who may just want to prank and scare people or get revenge on bullies, criminals who may view digimon as a means to more easily rob stores or banks or murder and torture innocent victims, terrorists who could utilize digimon in their attacks in the name of their country or their god, maybe even view digimon as divine messengers, same with cultists who may even try to protect wild digimon and let them attack freely as they could see it as God's will. And of course digimon could even be used in wars for resources or dominion over other nations when they're not seen as mankind's greatest threat, but as the ultimate biological weapons. Basically, a world where digimon were real would realistically be a chaotic one. That's my theory.

I love this! Ever since I was a kid I’ve given heavy thought to digimon in the real world. What would it take to make a real digimon? Would it ever be possible in the future with the right technology? Would they be assigned to partners like military personnel? Would the digimon crave human companionship? Is more possible than pokemon. Since Digimon is an AI, and we heading to the AI singularity in a few years. I would like you to talk about digimon that would be helpful to humans. Like any of the mechanical ones they can help build things, monitor and protect servers. Hagurumon, Guardromon and their evolution lines comes to mind. Also I would like to ask if the government investigate how the children make their partners evolve. I know it’s by emotions and I would like to know how it connects to the digisoul from Data Squad. I think this is the most important fact.

this is ONLY assuming there is a peace treaty officially signed and put to effect by both human and digimon i think not all digimon that can help are just mechanical there maybe some that can offer certain services like drimogemon or loaderleomon in mining(the latter can mine for the rare metal chrome digizoit) or those that can offer transport because of their natural body frame like airdramon or okuwamon or maybe even do other simple jobs most humans can do do bear in mind that no world nor any civilizations bound under unity, is a perfect utopia there will always be bad activities such as using digimon in crimes or acts of terrorism or digimon making humans into living batteries using their omnipotent powersource to make their captors evolve forcefully basically escalating a lot of negative influence with digimon being involved with us humans and vice versa

Digimon were not born on the internet. Digimon always existed as yokai,demons,spirits summoned trough magic or sorcery or subjugated as shikigami through onmyodo in Japan. Ethereal beings that have become tangible and visible through digital means and the other half of the human soul/their other selves. Digimon are residents of a higher dimension that totally transcends our reality and stands at a higher structural level. Our Real World was born from the primordial Digital World as a mere emanation and imperfect copy. It was our invention of conputers and our mindset that vastly changed because of the advent of tehnology that morphed what were once supernatural beings of a higher plane of existence into Digital Monsters.

Digimon are technically real, since I believe there are unlimited dimensions there is a dimension where digimon exist in the real world or a digital world.

Finally a human with brain, everything is real, they are infinite dimension everything is real nothing is made, even digimon pokemon e.t.c all is real in their perspective dimension, now they coming to our world may cause problem since all the infinite universe have their own law

That's very likely what would happen if Digimon were real. Wish that the Digimon franchise content producers could think of something like this, instead of making flawful stories like in the Digimon Ghost Game anime that no humans actually care to investigate Digimon properly as what they would be in real-life if humans are to be harmed by Digimon on almost daily basis. Saying Digimon are hologram, simply dismissing them as Hologram Ghost as urban legend just doesn't make sense when a great number of humans were harmed by Digimon frequently. It feels like more and more anime these days are to stupidify their audiences.

so what your saying is that if digimon were real it well become a problem so why can't we just recreate the Digi world and the digivice but had the digivice to turn us human to digimon and allow use to the Digi world and have a task force that also have digivice than there won't a problem.

I can see at first that it would be a problem for the digi destined and there Digimon at first they would be detained or force to help there governments before people start making civil right suits to give them proper legal freedom with there digimon without having to be consistent monitor or experimented on. i can also see maybe some digi destined become celebs in their country maybe even doing what they been doing to keep peace in our world and the digital world. I wouldn't blame the digi destined to leave there Digimon in the digital world since it's shown digi destined can go back and forth from our world and into the digital world. even some who don't won't to be notice and try to hide their Digimon in our world cause they dont want to be apart. Im scared to see what north korea would be like if they had digi destined. Maybe the digimon being a new species to our world would get some sort of amnesty to live in our world and be protected if they agree not to hurt others but there will always be bad digimon just like there will be good ones just like humans. But there is no truly way to know excatly how digimon would effect our world.

Digimon weren’t created by humans nor do they come/live in the Internet. The nature of the cosmology in Digimon is based on Neoplatonism and Emanationism. Neoplatonism = higher levels of existence transcending lower levels of existence the philosophy of Plato stressing especially that actual things are copies of transcendent ideas and that these ideas are the objects of true knowledge apprehended by reminiscence.This idea can be understood as the principle of the existence of a hierarchy of worlds where there are superior and perfect worlds in contrast to inferior and imperfect worlds, all of which derive from a single unit that would be the absolute being.The adopted concept of Platonism is that there is a higher reality, a true abstract existence that is responsible for all that is individual to exist. The concept of emantionism is that there are in fact innumerable layers of reality, one more abstract than the other, but in the end with all arising from a single higher and absolute layer. Emanationism = Creation occurs by a process of emanation - "out-flowing". The entire cosmos, and even all the gods and godheads beyond the cosmos, have come about through emanation. Just as the ocean forms its surface into waves, so the absolute forms create successive manifestations, successive entities. And these in turn create - or rather, emanate - further entities, and so on, with all these entities combining and interacting in the extraordinary network of existence. Emanationism is an idea in the cosmology or cosmogony of certain religious or philosophical systems. The inhabitants of the higher worlds act like the souls of those in the lower worlds. The Digital World isn't our Internet Network. It's a world beyond our own and the Network residing in a higher dimension. The Digital Worlds have a nature that transcends and even errodes reality and stand at a higher structural level encompassing our world. Even if you use the world itself as a means to process the Digital World it would be impossible. Lower worlds cannot support or process higher worlds. Digimon existed far before the Human World as supernatural beings such as yokai,demons,spirits summoned trough magic or sorcery or subjugated as shikigami through Onmyodo in Japan. Any and all "supernatural phenomena" were the cause of a Digimon manifested in the Real World. Digimon are the other half of the human soul/the other self. Ethereal beings that have become tangile and visible through digital means. The very reason they are called "Digimon" in the first place is that they can be recognized by modern digital gadgets that are sensible to the distortions they manifest in the lower worlds. It was the shift in human thinking and conciousness that turned these supernatural ethereal beings into "Digital Monsters".
