Terriermon's line specializes in using projectile weapons, whereas Lopmon's line is more about harnessing elemental powers (Lopmon and Cherubimon), or close quarter combat (Antylamon and Turuiemon).

@@MaelZack i am looking forward to doing my truth playthrough. Almost there but not yet. I really want to save ryo the most. I didn't like him at all at first and but once i realized he was in the middle of grieving for his deceased mother when he got sent to a world of digimon, death and horror i get why he snapped like he did. Its something that hits home hard considering recent events in my life. I could have misinterpreted things but shuuji seems like hes from a bad home but instead trying his best to not be like his father he does the exact thing to lopmon that his dad probably would have done. Hes experienced the worst humanity has to offer and still didnt think twice about doing the same thing to his cute bunny friend. Most people from that backround would try their best to not be anything like that unless they had something like a genetically inherited mental illness that makes the whole family like that. I dont know how much they can redeem shuuji knowing all that. Ryo lost the plot to despair but didnt try to beat down kunemon like that and probably wouldnt unless kunemon was the aggressor. Ken at least had the excuse of the dark seed completely changing his personality. Shuuji will have to do a lot more than ken to fully redeem himself as a character imo.

All that does is act like a rock paper scissors rpg mechanic and doesnt have a huge impact on whether a digimon can dark digivolve not aside from beating evil digimon faster which is great at stopping monologues and honeyed words. To paraphrase the wiki, holy digimon are at significant risk of dark digivolution or "falling" since theyre angels. Its because they are always fighting evil digimon and being exposed to the power of darkness. Evil digimon like lucemon or devimon love trying to convince holy digimon to fall from grace and will take advantage of the feelings of digimon like lopmon as well. Lopmon is naturally timid and shy by nature so it bottles its emotions rather than complain or talk it over if it has an issue with someone. I probably dont need to tell you how that can make people go off the deep end right? Basically aside from lopmons incredibly strong holy attribute its poorly suited to be an angel digimon and will usually be too timid to confront many issues and will bottle its feelings instead of speaking up. It creates situations like in frontier where a misunderstanding caused a dark digivolution or in survive where he was being mistreated. The poor guy has bad social anxiety. Hes pretty relatable in that regard.

@@nedrostram2360 well yes it does affect personality to an extent but nurture plays the bigger role just like any other living thing. Thats why beelzemon and blackwargreymon arent really evil and just believe in their own form of justice and guilmon can be good or bad depending on how its raised. The effect is minor and usually only effects things like impmon being mischievous or in this case lopmons timidness that makes it especially prone to going bad. Attribute doesn't effect the likelihood of dark evolutions because digimon evolution is entirely based its emotions and the emotions of its partner if it has one. Bottling them is one way to cause it since you can only bottle your emotions so much before they all come out at once and if someone is bottling them then they probably arent positive ones. Probably a few others here too. Oddly enough people can see them if its a reply to them and can reply back but clicking on it to come here will show its not actually there. You ever noticed a comment, seeing that has a number oeplies listed but after clicking to reply yourself, it has less than ot says? They are still there but hidden. Some mightve got deleted right as you clicked but most are hidden for naughty words or trolling. I honestly like this system more than bans tbh. If you word things carefully like i did and dont go around trolling or getting political it wont happen often but if you are setting off skynet nonstop you might find all your comments being hidden. It shuts up trolls and tos breakers and such but if they behave for a couple days the semi-ban does get lifted. I like it better than something like twitter that will just yeet people off the platform for breaking the rules. It lets people learn from their mistakes rather than just yeeting them. I still dont like it but its a lesser evil imo. The only issue is just like the unfair copystrikes and such that often effect creators on youtube, it has a lot of friendly fire like it did with your comment. Just be careful of wording and if a comment gets wrongly hidden you can edit it to use better wording and all will be well.

​@@Coomamon_Memes to be clear, it's not true that "most people from that background would try their best not to be anything like that". if you don't have the context to understand that the way you were treated was wrong, you will repeat that behavior while believing you are in the right and not understanding that you are taking out your suffering on others. shuuji is exactly like that. he remains in the toxic ideology of his father unless he's forcibly broken out of it. i also absolutely love ryo and kunemon, way more than i like shuuji, but let's be clear: the way shuuji treated lopmon was both representative of the cycle of abuse and also shuuji's own self-hatred.

@@Mysticgamer She is classified as a Ophan type, so hierarchy wise she’s the same rank as Ophanimon. However the reference book also states that she was ONCE appointed the same rank as Ophanimon, meaning her power is prob weaker, and her forte seem to be knowledge. But you know what they say sometimes Knowledge is Power. :)

@@DigimonCentral True, in rearise she used her power to sense Armageddonmon awakening, so she scanned to figure out which Royale knight could help her defeat him. And she chose imperialdramon paladin mode to help.

Finding this out when reading the walkthrough, it convinced me to take the Virus/Wrath Route first as it has the most deaths and allows me to get the Dark playthrough done first

Well, I'd say it just straight up depends on what they think is normal, but amongst the list of actual Demon Lords who represent actual Sins. Only Belphemon and Leviamon are of a beast like nature, but since Leviamon is heavily reptilian, Belphemon really is the only choice.

@@YataLock98 You don't seem to understand me. Cherubimon got five spirits (both human and beast) - darkness, earth, wood, water and metal while Seraphimon got only two - light and wind.

Seraphimon got human and beast spirits of light and wind, Ofanimon got human and beast spirits of fire, ice and thunder while Cherubimon got human and beast spirits of darkness, earth, wood, water and metal.

That and the true ending is best ending. So some people just has to live no matter how much we hate them.

@Dusk278 I couldn't stand the way Shuuji abused Lopmon. His obsession with being a leader just because of outdated confucian beliefs made me hate him even more. He was never fit to lead anyone. At the very least he admits it several times in the truthful route, but the fact he never relinquished the 'leader' dream even after realizing just how poor a fit he is for the role made me find him irredeemable. He was tolerable at best. He grew a lot during the story, and him admitting he'd wished lopmon would hit him to settle the score was the one time he ever really earned any respect from me. Otherwise I see him as someone who needs to have his ego stroked at all times to maintain his sanity. Even Takuma gave him 'honorary' leadership roles. The closest he came was second in command, and he really didn't even deserve that mercy imo.

The moment I saw lopmon in the game I was like cool! The moment I realize this game has a heart system…. I thought cool I will definitely get the good one….the moment Ryo died…. I realize what type of game this was and immediately started panicking cuz the way shuji been treating lopmon was not good. Ryo Freaking out was more understandable that kid was panicking left and right. Shuji was just a bully who didn’t get his way. Still they way the dark evo went …. Really terrified me

Holydramon was widely unpopular for a long time. There's kind of this unwritten rule that once a Digimon goes from bestial to humanoid, it feels like a step backward to go from humanoid back into bestial. Thus Ophanimon was created. That said, over time I think Holydramon's design has grown on me. It's just so unique. You don't see anything like it anywhere else.

@@Duckkis Thing is Digimon are reflections of their partners/tamers and Shuuji has a ton of issues which end up projected onto Lopmon, whom he treats just like his father treated him. Thats also why Kunemon doesn't speak, Ryo feels like he can't open up to anyone.

@@Duckkis More spoilers: If you save Shuuji and Lopmon, after their event Shuuji makes a complete 180 turn and becomes a really nice guy to lopmon and build a very close connection with him. Mostly because shuuji realized the error of his ways and wanted to become someone that lopmon could be proud of.
