Let's use the DigiPi and FLDigi to make a Morse Code contact using modulated CW.

Thanks for the great video. Hey Craig. You forced me to break down and get a 705 after the 991A frustration. My wife would like to talk to you. :) I installed remote software to a m5stack2. Its pretty cool. Might check that out. Only took a sec to install.

I'm really sorry to hear that Bryan. is the 705 in-stock? now you need a digipi for both radios. its a slippery slope, and burden we all must bear :)

Hi Craig, good video! I would like to see see docking station running.... At the moment I am not doing a lot of HAM radio. Sold my house and have to move to a rental temporary and start building a new home at the end of the year. 73' PD1MV (Martin)

To get CW right, place your waterfall in the 1000Hz range and narrow your envelope to 2.5KHz or lower and select CW on your radio settings. That will stop all external signals coming in and you will pick up the tone better. On my Yaesu 897D it has CW-T. By narrowing the stock filter and getting square on the CW beat the radio lights up. That is when it is on the correct pulse of the signal received. So if you do that then you will get your radio working in the way it should. Also in 2007 I tried copying a friend using CW and found that FLDigi does not work well on 100WPM CW. 70WPM is the limit or there about. So if you are doing CW MGM about 80WPM will be the highest it will go to.
