Something I know from the Edelkron motorized systems is that they are noisy and not good for use in a video interview setting. When I watch this video and notice you are changing audio sources every time the thing is moving makes me very suspicious of the same noise issue.

Not trolling, just seriously considering getting one. I know you've covered in the past other motorized sliders and always show how much the microphone picks up the noise, just not this one. I went to their website and whenever they show the video mode, suddenly loud music kicks in. I enjoy your videos. Blessings

Can we slide and pan as well? Would be something if this allows camera to pan left n right also or have a fixed point of view and just slide around it ...

Taser Face : I would also like to know if you could set start and end points for pan. Great if it could interpolate them in video. Shooting interviews with this setup might be interesting if the video were smooth.

You have options for different motors. Some really fast, some really slow. It’s up to you, the one I used was a slower type.

It is a similar design, but I believe the Edelkrone does not have a motorized option.

Hmmm... Yeah, the Edelkrone doesn't have that option. I wonder if they used the same manufacturer (because the motorized bit looks like it was added on)

I'm using a 1/4 to 3/8ths adapter on my tripod head, I find the standard screw is too short, did you use a special 3/8ths screw for this?

€472.50 or $549.85 or £418.80 expensive for a knockoff of the Edelkrone design ! for a copy you can pay 107€ an then the motor... 365€ for that ??!! No Way

You have options of different motor speeds depending on your needs.

MrCheesyCam, the speed you have it at towards the end of the video.. is that speed able to be doubled? Also, what's the weight limit? Thanks in advance. I noticed you showed some diagonal movement but didn't speak on this... sooo many questions, I might buy one! :D

Depending on the motor you choose you can get double that speed pretty easy. But then you would be using a motor that would not be as effective for moving in tiny tiny increments and super slow.
