Well anything we're touching on that's dark does have demons about it. But consider yourself lucky if you've never seen them in front of you or had some big encounter. But believe me you've had encounters It's just that your eyes need to be open to the spiritual realm. God tells us to walk in the spirit. Ok, so my take on this as someone who has and is dealing with demonic issues... you picked up 'attachments' and they were probably causing what i call 'background' issues, stuff that gets hand waived as 'normal' , but once you started coming to God/Jesus they lose their cool so to speak and start acting up in more obvious ways because they are mad and want to try to scare you off from going any further in that direction.

Because you were doing his work... when myself or my friends are living in gleeful Sin, nothing happens. The moment you start leaving that and head for the Lord Almighty, that's when he comes for you and you notice alright.

He didn't need to. He was living in darkness and Jesus saved him. His past and salvation story is what matters to me most!

Matt’s wife here(: I was talking about how Matt was cruel to me before he was saved, I said that I would walk in on him watching p*rn and he would get mad at me, I would have to beg him not to leave me and try and comfort him when HE was the one doing something bad. Like a guy that jogs every day at 7am, volunteers at summer camps, is always positive, super strong and never gives up.. (this is not a real example by the way). To add to this picture that makes me feel negative.. they might have 5 beautiful children (picture perfect). Probably an actual photo of them on top of mount everest or something like that. Now that you know who God is , you will finally understand the great commission to baptize IN THE NAME of the Father , the son , the spirit , now you know , those are three titles that bare ONE NAME because there is ONE God , whats the name? Peter showed you and obeyed this command , "in the name of Jesus Christ" because we just explained Jesus Christ is the Father manifest , God is a spirit that is holy and this is why Jesus said "I come in my Fathers name" ... God is not going to come in someone elses name , if he makes himself a body and indwells it , better believe it will bare his own name . If God were to refer to himself in the form of a man as God and the Father exclusively , this would become confusion in the other direction , making you think Gods now a man , rather this is God manifest , Gods not a man and that is what he wanted to make clear with this "father" "son" relationship that sets a perfect example for us and helps us understanding better , and if he created the body as the Father , would the best title for that body not be son? so please , obey these scriptures , obey Acts 2:38 and if someone says you do not have to be baptized , he is lying to you , take him to Mark 16:16 and show him you will be damned to hell if you are not baptized because without baptism , you do not have remission of sin yet and you can not get into Gods kingdom with sin or be united to him , its the whole reason Jesus paid for the sin to begin with , to reconcile you unto himself , and he gives you his spirit that from that point forward , you no longer walk in sin but in the spirit , in newness of life , over time , God will transform and renew you , prepare you for the world to come , his kingdom , make sense? we must continue to obey God and serve him , remember John 15 , the dry branch without fruit is snapped off and thrown into fire , remember hebrews 5:9 , Jesus is the author of eternal salvation unto all who OBEY him and it does not say unto all who BELIEVE HIM , it says OBEY HIM .
