Hi, I just got 12.9" ipad pro about when you did (changing from my ancient, small ipad pro), and gen 2 apple pencil. I just tried writing the "G's" like you did, no such issue over here, they were smooth. Thank you for the video, I love your art and your products and what you are creating -- can't wait to buy some more, they are so great -- hope you and family have a blessed Christmas season. (P.S. Over the past 2 weeks, I have ad a family emergency here, with sudden travel home to check on family, and afterwards, I was writing about it in your digital planner, and I was so grateful for it - just wanted to let you know from a real person, really using the product - what a difference it makes in my life - and I LOVE having everything in one place, in one planner, the Faith section included - thanks for your all of your hard work you did creating it!!). 🤗

Hi Rina!!! For drawing stars in GoodNotes (and NoteShelf), you can try drawing them with the crisscross lines instead (like drawing a pentagram). It gives better control so when the shape snaps, the five points are more evenly sized. Also, you can adjust the last point as the shape snaps, as long as you don’t lift your pencil before then. I can’t draw stars either, but I found this method really helps!! The star will still fill in fully with the lighter color shade as well, in case that’s needed. Love the Christmas them you did!!! I’m off to buy the rainbow planner!!!! 🥰

i get the same issue with the ipad/pencil, its a on off issue for me for a year, its so annoying!!! edit: try disconnecting the pencil "forget device" in bluetooth settings, and reconnecting it, just worked for me but can be temporary fix

I think in 2025 I’m going to get your Rainbow 🌈 Planner Bundle. I snagged the regular bundle and I can’t wait to start using it!!!!! I wanted to see how much I like digital planning and the cost VS paper planning. Aside from using my paper memory keeping I don’t think I am going to go back to it.

Your spread turned out very cute!! I had similar Apple Pencil issues back in Nov as well, but in the Procreate app. I was able to fix the issue by disabling the hand resting setting 🤷🏻‍♀️

I did not know you could toggle those lasso setting to do that! I was using the shape tool to color the calendar and weekly boxes on my previous happy downloads planner and I always ruined the colors I made when I was editing other stuff!

On my iPad Air 4 or 5, I have not had that jagged writing issue. Still undecided on getting the pro. One problem I have a lot on GoodNotes on my iPad Air 4 is that some of what I write just disappears sometimes and I don’t hit a button accidentally. Idk what causes it. Let’s say I write MERRY CHRISTMAS. When I finish writing that and move in, immediately half or almost all of it is erased. Not whole letters but as if I swiped my pencil in eraser mode and erased partial pieces of what I wrote. It just happens randomly. Idk why. I miss that a bit too about a desk job. Leaving work at work and stuff. I now work from home and it’s like I’m working from home and taking care of home all the time. Work is always on my mind now lol by the way I am thankful for you not putting your shop on the back burner. If you must that is understandable:) but I’m so glad you continue to work on it so I can keep making purchases for my needs. Ty

Hey Rina! I hope you and your family are doing well for the holidays! I was hoping you could help me with something. I purchased your Mom planner bundle some time ago. I feel like I am not using it to the full potential. I am super overwhelmed by all the pages and options. All of your plan with me's and tutorial videos are just your own schedule, is there any way you could make a video of how you would use something like the mom planner with the different functions and schedules for multiple people? I myself have a husband, a teenager who works and goes to school, another daughter in school and competitive gymnastics, and a little one who is in kindergarten who also goes to gymnastics. I have downloaded, used, and deleted my planners over and over trying to find something that works best for me. I would love to use the notes section for a daily journal and use it to post about my day and photos like you've done in much of yours. I think the most overwhelming part is going into the pages menu and moving/adding/deleting pages I like and don't like. Any insight you have to help something work for me, I would greatly appreciate it!

Hello! I totally understand being overwhelmed by all the pages. If you don't need all the templates there is a "minimalistic" option in the planner builder page that gets rid of all of them. Or have a think about what you want to track/plan and find the templates that would help you do that. For multiple people's schedules, what you could potentially do is use the timetable weekly layout, and duplicate the page a couple of times for the rest of your family. They won't be hyperlinked like the original but you can just swipe over to them. Or if the schedules are fixed each week, you could put a couple of templates in the custom pages section (I showed how to use those in my latest 2023 digital planner set up video). Hey Rina!! I always love your PWM’s. Regarding the issue with your writing- I have an iPad Air4 updated to iOS 16 and I don’t have this issue. I would definitely contact apple if you haven’t already.

Hi! Most of my landscape planners are ringed with two sides on each page, which I think you might be referring to. Hope that helps and really glad you like my channel 🥰

@@The0neRxsie She means that the layout is a single page (that looks like two pages) on the screen. The page represents an open book with the rings in the middle. This is used commonly for devices in landscape mode. It’s not a split screen.
